Poll: Favorite Star Trek Captain/Commander?

I don't know who Jonathan Archer is, but Patrick Stewart is an awesome actor, so I pick Picard.

I like the new guy too... Picard is still the best, but Archer is good too. Enterprise was a great show this season.

Sisco all the way DS9 was the best startrek series. although I really prefer arch based shows instead of a series you can watch on and off and not get lost

Sisko gets my vote.

Archer wasn't even up for consideration in my head until the Xindi plot arc. He locked a prisoner in the airlock, asked him a question, when he didn't respond he depressurized it, Reed told him the prisoner was running out air, and Archer responded "Not for another minute he won't". This moved Archer up several places in my opinion.

And @JulesMaximus: If you think of Sisko as a mayor you clearly missed out on the USS Defiant and the Klingon and Cardassian Wars.

This pretty much summed up my opinions.... I guess its because when I was little the first real st series I watched was DS9 so it has always been my fav series. I really dont get why everybody likes TNG so much it was ok but nothing even close to the DS9 "Dominion War"

This is my take on Janeway. She is the classic example of why Women should not be given command of starships. What happens when we give some chick command? On her fist day out, she gets blown 70,000 light years from home. And when she gets there, does she follow the Prime Directive and get her crew home? Nope. She stays and messes with other civilizations lives...

So what does starfleet do when she finally gets home? The only thing they could do. Promote her. Why you Ask? Well they sure as hell weren't going to give her another starship now were they?

Flame on you Janeway fans. Just my 2 cents, but she sucked.
