I didn't in boot camp (semper fi), but now that have my own shower, I make sure the water is steaming before I jump in.

they should invent something that keeps the water warm in the pipes, without actually running up the heating bills 😀

maybe insulation over the pipes?

o yea, i also don't understand why anyone would want a cold shower at all. i tried that once during the winter, and froze my a$$ off

I don't really need to. Hot water gets to my faucet pretty quick actually. By the time I turn on the faucet and pull the knob to turn on the shower, and step in, the water is warm.

I typically shave (using hot water) before I shower. That helps a lot. If I don't shave, I've got to let it warm up.

my waters pretty slow. I probably have to wait at least 10-20 seconds. Big waste of water, but i can't stand cold water

I already got used with the cold water in winter season because of no air-conditioned practices after high school SEVEN DAYS A WEEK, YES EVERYDAY in my four high school years. I got sweat really bad after practices everyday so the sweat was still there as I hopped in the shower.

As I am sophomore in college, I still do the same thing but without basketball practices. I don't play collegiate basketball but it would be nice if I do.

i dont, but my wife does it for me.

4:45 am - Wife wakes up
5:00 am - Wife turns shower on; gets my clothes ready for work
5:01 am - Wife wakes me up to shower in my warm water 🙂

Used to - then we moved the water heater so that it's a straight shot upwards to the showers instead of having to meander through 50-some odd feet of copper (who the hell thought of that?!)
