Well, at least you have an opinion and a strategy. It appears to be failing miserably, but maybe you just need to work harder at whatever it is. Note I said whatever it is. What is the DNC platform? I listen to liberal radio 5 days a week, in the last 3 months I haven't heard anything but "Trump has to go".
I'd actually like to see a more moderate group in power. But that group has to have something other than "anyone but Trump". Both party's used that one in 16 and look where it got us. Do you want 4 more years of Trump? I don't, but that's sure as hell what we're going to end up with if the DNC doesn't get it together.

Is there some aspect of the divisive Putin/Trump agenda you fail to understand? Can you not acknowledge its purpose?

Gut the State Dept.

Discredit the Media.

Discredit the FBI & the DoJ.

Discredit the Intelligence Community.

Discredit Nato.

Insult America's long standing friends & partners.

Turn the volume way up on every white culture war wedge issue.

Allow the greedy rich to loot the Treasury.

Slash social spending.

Why the Hell would anybody vote for that if they weren't extremely well propagandized? What's in it for middling Americans other than the feelz?

The deficit is expanding rapidly and soon blue collar workers will be jobless, without their unions and their healthcare, just what every proud republican voter lusts for when it comes to how they vote.

He will win again in 2020 if it continues this way.

At what point is "no more blatant, unapologetic fascists in power" not a good enough message for you?

Apparently, I'm not capable of making my point clear enough, because you keep returning to the right being under mind control, to white people wanting to oppress others. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe that will be enough to win an election, it doesn't seem like it to me.

So you deny those things are happening? It seems to me that you are. Why?

YESSSS! One of my dearest, closest friends came out to me today as no longer a Trump Supporter! Our relationship has been strained over this (among other things). I'm so pleased!

Strong language too. He said Trump is a disgrace and his decision is irreversible!

You are completely right. There is a problem. The Democrats are not doing a very good job of convincing America that they should not shit in their own bed and lay in it. It seems the message 'How about we don't shit in our bed' is not a good enough message to convince America that shitting in their own bed is not a good idea. America apparently WANTS to shit the bed, and that is the problem. As long as that is true I don't think there is a message good enough to convince them otherwise.

Looks like Helsinki was mostly a success at getting people to think Putin has something on him...

American voters believe 51 - 35 percent "that the Russian government has compromising information about President Trump," according to a Quinnipiac University National Poll released today.

Republicans don't believe 70 - 18 percent there is compromising information, the only listed party, gender, education, age or racial group which does not believe it, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University National Poll finds. Two other groups are divided:
  • 44 percent of white voters with no college degree believe the Russians have something and 43 percent don't believe it;
  • 42 percent of white men believe it and 43 percent don't believe it.
The U.S. and Russia share the blame for the relationship between the two countries, 54 percent of U.S. voters say, while 38 percent say Russia is to blame and 4 percent say the U.S. is to blame.

The Helsinki summit between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin was a failure for the U.S., voters say 52 - 27 percent. The summit was a success for Russia, voters say 73 - 8 percent.

Trump was not acting in the best interest of the U.S., voters say 54 - 41 percent.

"Whether it is with love or not, President Donald Trump's relationship with Russia has delivered a small blow to his already poor standing with the American people," said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

"Following his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, President Trump's job approval is back below 40 percent again.

"The president gets a split 49 - 47 percent score on the economy, but he receives negative reviews on his handling of a bevy of international problems and especially his relationship with Russia."

President Trump should defend all of America's NATO allies, American voters say 78 - 16 percent.

A total of 68 percent of American voters are "very concerned" or "somewhat concerned" about President Trump's relationship with Russia, while 32 percent are "not so concerned" or "not concerned at all."

Everything is Fake News, You can't believe anything anyone says except Trump, and even then only what he is telling you now, because anything you remember him telling you before is just your Fake News memories. Live in a constant state of fear. No, wait that is fake news too. Everything is wonderful. Nope, Fake news, be afraid.

Trump invites Putin to another meeting. Putin responds with, "Uh, maybe. Let me check my calendar and get back to you. I may have plans."

Reuters said:
The Kremlin said on Tuesday it had received a U.S. invitation for President Vladimir Putin to hold a summit with President Donald Trump in Washington at the end of this year, but said there were other chances for the two men to meet as well.

<snip>

“There are other options (to meet) which our leaders can look at,” [Kremlin aide Yuri] Ushakov told reporters, citing a meeting of G20 leaders in Argentina which starts at the end of November.

“Maybe there will be other international events which Trump and Putin will take part in.”

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...ticsNews&utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=Social

So, after the Helsinki Humiliation, now Putin is telling Trump, "Yeah, sure Donny. I'll get back to you." - Putin showing Trump he's the Alpha. "We had fun. I'll call you, sweetie".

Now Trump, the guy who recently tweeted that Russian election interference in 2016 was a "hoax," is alerting America that Russia may now interfere with future elections...to help Democrats. Because he's so tough on Russia.

Now..Assuming his base gobbles that up, we can at least hope they get whiplash. Didn't a large number of them just going through the exercise of deciding Russian interference was not a big deal?.

It's some high grade political and diplomatic malpractice to publicly offer a world leader a visit without knowing beforehand if they'll accept.

Another amazing Putin own on Trump though.

It just blows my mind that he could be re-elected, but unfortunately, the only way I think he can be defeated in 2020 is if the ballooning deficits from the tax cuts and the trade wars put the economy into recession.
If that's true, I am rooting for a recession.

That's just a ploy to get his base out to vote in the midterms, nothing more.

If pcgeek can't admit that Putin just made trump look like a clown after this latest move then there is no hope.

IF proof comes out that Trump is a russian stooge, republicans will admit no wrong on their part and blame it on Dems and their base will believe them hook, line, & sinker. Like Trump, they never admit they were wrong.

*sigh* appallingly I've been leaning toward that myself but I don't feel that bad about it because I see it happening any way.
Yea, I'm very close to retirement so I'm already being conservative with my investments except for a Facebook play, otherwise, sadly, this may be what it takes for his base to realize the emperor has no clothes.

Yes. But they've set themselves up for it. They've been told, warned, advised, informed in every conceivable way but they're hyper focused on Dems fears and tears and hate bills that are being passed just for them they have convinced themselves if it's true they're up for weathering the storm. They're most definitely not.

Well, it's been days now since Trump proved himself a Russian stooge and an American traitor, and all has returned back to normal once again.
No impeachment.
Republicans have all but forgotten Trump and Helsinki.
Now.... Donald Trump is tweeting about war with Iran trying to deflect from news that his lawyer did in fact record Donald's involvement with paying off Stormy.
And like a cat chasing a new shiny object, the press has turned to chasing the Trump vs Iran thing.

So obviously, another 24 hours has passed and once again no one even cares.
THIS is why democrats MUST take back the house AND the senate come November.
MUST!!!!
And if democrats can and they still refuse to hold Donald Trump accountable then we're all royally screwed.
Frankly, should Democrats actually win the grand prize in November, the house and the senate, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they just let Donald Trump slide by.
Fail to do anything concerning Donald trump.
I wouldn't be surprised.

Face it. They still LOVE Donald Trump. All of them.
The democrats in congress, the media and press, the news organizations, they still love the stupidity of Donald Trump.
The reality TV show that just keeps on giving and giving.
After all, if they didn't have Donald Trump to laugh at and make fun of and act shocked over, then WHO?
Who else could possibly take Donald Trump's place?
Who else could keep the fun going on and on?
Mike Pence? :(
How could the free press even survive with out their daily dose of Donald Trump?
The Eddie Haskel of America politics.
