Not sure if it was said because i didnt read through all of the posts but..

I keep my door closed mostly because i dont allow my cats in my bedroom but also because I always thought that you should keep your bedroom doors closed while you are sleeping incase of a house fire. It will give you more smoke free time.

No doors to close, live in a loft.

I have also noticed that my success rate 🙂 has gone WAY up since I moved into a loft.
Whenever I have some "company" over they always get to see my king size waterbed.
Next to the entertainment center, it's the focal point of the room.
It seems to plant a seed as soon as they walk in the door.
Almost like a little voice is saying..."oohhh look..it's the BED right there in the open"
Plant the seed early is what I always say!

Wife and I, 3 cats and a dog. The animals will whine/claw if they can't get in and then if they can't get out. So we leave the doors open. Unless we need some "Alone Time" 🙂

You're pretty modest if you care if your pets watch you and the wife!

:Q

It's not the watching the's the problem. But since our cats normally sleep on the bed, and they are fully clawed..... well. you get the idea...

Closed for thermal reasons. I also live in somewhat of a loft studio. When I had my one bedroom apt, I left it open half the time, depending on who was over and if I wanted the cat out or not.

Well I live in a dorm now so closed definitely. At home I slept with it closed because someone was usually outside and had the lights on.

Cracked 1-2" because if it's closed the fan in my window blows very little air on us.
