Wife and I, 3 cats and a dog. The animals will whine/claw if they can't get in and then if they can't get out. So we leave the doors open. Unless we need some "Alone Time" 🙂

You're pretty modest if you care if your pets watch you and the wife!

:Q

Open, I live alone and not with my parents.
No need for it to be closed.

Next poll should be:
Do you take a crap with the door open or closed?

Open- even if it is closed, our 2 dogs find a way to get it open

Open... ditto, except 3 dogs that insist on sleeping in our bedroom.

The air return vent and thermostat are close to the bedroom door, and if the door stays closed it makes the thermostat read several degrees warmer for some reason. Obviously it somehow screws up the air flow. So I keep the door open a little. Otherwise I would rather it be closed.

open a bit for fresh air, but usually closed in the summers, so as not to waste the AC..

Also have a cat, though she is indoors strictly..

Always closed. If it's open, someone can get in. And the shade has to be down over the window, too, otherwise someone might come in there, too!

I sleep with music on, so my door is closed. Don't wanna wake the parents. One of my dogs doesn't sleep in a cage at nights, and sometimes he runs upstairs to sleep in my bed, if he does, I leave it cracked so if he wants out of the room he can paw the door open. By the time he runs out, my parents are usually up anyway, so it doesn't matter if my door is open then.

Normally I like my door closed so it's closed in the mornings. My parents are busy bees in the morning and they don't seem to care if they wake me up in the mornings 🙁
