I voted soda, but technically I'm from the south, and we all say coke down here.

I say pop when I go home to visit my parents (Eastern Ohio). I say soda any other time though.

Here in Tennessee, everything is called coke. You want a Mountain Dew? "Go get me a coke." You want a Sprite? "Go get me a coke." You want a Pepsi? "Go get me a coke." Then we always ask what kind of coke. That's when you say the specific product name. Yes, we're weird.

Bad poll. I'm from Gerogia: It's Coke.
It's either sweet tea, water, Coke or Pepsi. And when you say Pepsi it isn't a good thing.

Yup. Here in Indiana they don't have sweet tea, and it's a damned shame.

Pop is the correct answer.

"soda" is the carbonized & flavorless water which also happens to be one of the ingredients of pop,

I'm in the South and everything is Coke here.

My neighbors across the street are in fact from Western PA and use the word Pop. Those people are indeed stange.
