I won't get one until I can afford something like Apple's Cinema Display.

One of the few innovations I love about the new Apple G4's are that single cord going from the tower to the LCD, all video and power are carried through that single cord.

:Q Damn that's an amazing price for the UltraSharp. I've got the UltraSharp in my laptop and it's an amazing display. Wouldn't hesitate to buy one for my desktop, soon as I can afford it that is. :)

I was tempted to jump on the Dell bandwagon, but I didn't. My current monitor isn't a year old yet.

Yes.

Silicon Graphics 1600SW Widescreen LCD, and i've never had a problem with ghosting while watching DVD's or playing games.

Price? You don't want to know. :)

Yeah yeah, rub it in :D

Sorry, but that is my all-time greatest Ferengi moment. It'll be tough to top that one. :p

I have one that comes close, the Free MSN $400 @ Office Depot.

Free $400 all thanks to a little legal loophole (which was quickly fixed after the media broke the story).

I dunno if I remember that particular deal.

Let me guess, they offered a $400.00 rebate but had no provision for what happens if you cancel early? Sounds like a good deal to me! :D

You got it. There was some stupid clause in MSN's agreement that OR and CA residents can cancel their 3 year memberships, keep the free $400 and pay no penalty fees.

So I signed up for an MSN account, got my free $400 of stuff then cancelled with MSN the next day.

I have a NEC 17" and a Mag 15" I guess my I-Opener doesn't count though. I'm never going back to CRT's.

my parents use a 15" Dell LCD. It's nice, but its limited by it's screen res of 1024x768. Same thing with my 15" laptop screen. My main monitor is a Samsung 955DF. It's color matching and size is too good to give up for a 15" LCD (thats all I can afford to spend on a monitor right now). Although I'd love to have the deskspace back that this CRT takes up...
