We have several 1900FP's at work. I'm on a 17" right now, but the 19" screens are simply beautiful. :p

Everything Viper GTS said.

I have a 15" lcd (not my only screen, TG) and a 17" Sony 200ES.

Next monitor purchase will be another CRT.

I just ordered a 1900FP today, I don't have sales tax so I went with Small Business, I used 3% fatcash to get it down to $668 :D

Great deal since it's a $899 LCD!

Carbonyl - I am not 100% without a doubt certain that the Dell 1900FP is a rebadged Samsung 191T but everything I have read so far (all AT posts) leads to that conclusion (assumption?).

Entity - These 1900FP's are beautiful, aren't they?

Keego - D'oh I should have used FatCash, could have saved another 1% which is roughly $7, that would pay for a medium Quizno's Black Angus sub!

Wow, you guys are amazing! I don't have an LCD because I can't afford one! That's right, I am a mechanical engineer making $40,000+ per year, and can't afford it! Heck, my 20 gig hard drive is failing and I can't bring myself to buy a replacement. Maybe it's me....

I used to, but when the laptop I bought had the same size screen I sold my LCD :) Now I just use a 17" Compaq CRT as a backup.

Yes, the 1900FP's are beautiful. I wish I could afford one (or a few) for home. :D

I bought a Samsung 760V about a month ago. There's no ghosting during games, but at 1280x1024 (the native resolution), there is some ghosting of text. However, that may be the fault of my KVM. I haven't bothered to try hooking it up directly to a video card yet.

Anyway, here's a pic.

i can't justify $700 for a monitor when i'm perfectly happy with my IBM P70 monitor.

Rossman In this massive 5000+ post thread over at ars several people seems to agree with you. That thread is unbleiveable, has all the info one could ever want about any LCD... Must resist. :p

Edit: the primary difference seems to be you can pivot the Samsung and not the dell:p

Not yet. I have been eyeing the 17" Apple LCD for my G4.

I don't know when I will be replacing my PC's 21" monitor.

hey! my sizes are not in the list! I own a 14.1 and a 5.6 ( the 5.6 probably doesn't count though :)

Add a 14.1 so I can vote :p

For those 4 of you who voted 20"+ LCD, how on earth can you afford such a toy?

The Dell 2000FP costs at least $1,000

Carbonyl - If you do decide to buy a Dell LCD, they have a 30 day return policy and I think the best bang for your buck model is the 1900FP. Mine doesn't pivot but the viewing angle is perfect.
