Yes I do. It's a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage DE. 1.8L automatic. It gets decent gas mileage... but I think it should be better. I only get about 28 mpg in the city and I don't drive like an asshole. I get about 32 on the highway. I think it's about time for a tuneup... 30,000+ miles and it has the original spark plugs and wires. I'll check the wires with a DVOM and replace as necessary and probably just replace the plugs regardless of their condition since they're fairly cheap, and only 4 of them. Next oil change I'm going to use synthetic oil and see if that increases my gas mileage at all.

Up until a year and a half ago I drove a 1977 Cutlass daily. Actually two different ones. First one had a 350 Olds, other one had a 260 Olds (tiny V8). I drove those for about 5 years all together. My dad bought the one with the 350 in 1977 when it was brand new. Lasted 30 years without any major repairs... ran good still... just really rusty. When a brake line rusted through and broke we sold it for $600.

1992 Mustang - blah. Reliable beater with 30+MPG, good for winter - hate driving it though.

I'm the same with my '92 GT. Thing is, for our cars, you can often get aftermarket high performance parts when something needs to be replaced for less, or about the same as OEM parts.

As for your '92, it sucks to drive because it's a POS 4 banger...heh. You'd enjoy driving my '92...I modified the stock suspension/brakes first, before I modified the motor. I have dumped about the same amount of money into suspension/brake mods as I have engine mods. Stock they suck, but you can change that quite easily. I'm more of a corner carver than a straight line guy anyhow...
Heh, my friend has an '88 GT...it's awesome! Mine is the 4 cyl/auto combo, which is horrid. Kinda sad that Ford bumped the HP of that engine in '91...from 88 to 105 hp...and the slushbox saps away most of it :(.

And the stock suspension on your GT was probably worlds better than the suspension on mine...I think it needs to be gone through, but I don't feel like putting the time or money into it. Rather spend it on the T/A - in fact, I just bought all new suspension pieces for that car a couple weeks ago.

I got my Stang cause I got a good deal on it and it had low miles on it (42k)...the fact that aftermarket parts are widely available and cheap is an added bonus :D.
