1992 Mustang - blah. Reliable beater with 30+MPG, good for winter - hate driving it though.

I'm the same with my '92 GT. Thing is, for our cars, you can often get aftermarket high performance parts when something needs to be replaced for less, or about the same as OEM parts.

As for your '92, it sucks to drive because it's a POS 4 banger...heh. You'd enjoy driving my '92...I modified the stock suspension/brakes first, before I modified the motor. I have dumped about the same amount of money into suspension/brake mods as I have engine mods. Stock they suck, but you can change that quite easily. I'm more of a corner carver than a straight line guy anyhow...

99' Concorde I really like.
I get alot of flac from my brother cause its not japanese
However the ride is so smoth and the car is big enough for me to move my stuff back and forth from college.
Great long distance car. Slow not so great on gas. Also its slowed my driving down alot cause its got such a soft suspension.
I have to remove the battery to clean off corrosion. And that freaking involves removing the tire and air intake something I'm not looking forward too. Maintance is a bitch.

Pour a mixture of baking soda and water all over your battery, and then hose it off. The baking soda will neutralize the acid and break up the corrosion. If it's really bad you might need to do it twice and possibly use a toothbrush. You shouldn't have to remove the battery.

I was planning on using a wire brush but if that doesn't do it easily enough I will use the baking soda.

Hardest part in all of this is getting to the damn battery.

Thing is, the baking soda will do the work for you. It will break up most of it without a wire brush. I still don't know whay you would need to take the battery out of the car to do it...

You should use the baking soda at the very least because it will neutralize any acid that is there, otherwise it will remain active and could get on your hands or the car...

Is your battery covered or something?

The battery is below the air filter, The most I can do without removing it is cleaning the ground terminal. However there is very little room to work around the battery.

I like mine. Red 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix, 4-door version. The best thing about it is the HUD. The unlock-all button on the driver's side doesn't work though.

Indeed, I  mine. 1994 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi. It's very comfortable, has some nice features, engine is plenty fast for me, handles nice, tons of room....etc.

I love my car, 2004 TL. I hate the fact that the sub sounds like it's blown, but my dealer says it's not.

Mines an 04 Focus ZX3 but its one of the few with the new 2.3L engine they are using. It's also a 5 speed so I can get it moving pretty quick.
