POLL: Do you like Michael Moore?

i like him. He seems to be open minded and goes against the status quo.

Bowling for Columbine was very insightfull and brougth a completly new angle to the gun control debate (the fear thing)

Actually, it brought NOTHING to the gun control debate. It just brought up the point of fear as a reason america has more murders.

Another 300+ post flame thread.
Excellent.

I think that he is a very fine individual...

...FOR ME TO POOP ON!!😀

But seriously, I like him because he showcases what America is all about. America is the land where anybody can voice their opinion on anything, no matter how stupid or wrong it is.

(But despite all this I still had to vote "no" because, well, I hate him.

I guess it's good that he stands up for what he believe in, but because of the way that he does it, I despise the man. He manipulates people, distorts facts, and constanstly whines and complains about everything. Maybe it's just me, but I tend to like happy people more

Do you mean like him as a person, or just based on his views? I haven't ever met him or spent any time talking to him, so I can't say whether or not I like him. As for his views, he does have some outlandish stuff, but some of what he talks about is actually interesting stuff. Unfortunately, some of his radical stuff keeps people from hearing the not so radical stuff. I am of the firm belief that once you stop listenting to a person or side of an issue because you disagree with some of what is being said, you miss out. Both sides of an issue will tell you how sure they are that their side is right, and how wrong the other side is, but when you listen to both sides of an issue you usually find the truth is somewhere in the middle. Once you refuse to listen to one side of an argument simply because you don't agree, you miss out.

I don't know him. The first time I ever heard of him was when he gave that speech at the Oscars or whatever. In all honesty he has no bearing on anything that I do and I don't care about who he is, what he does, or what he thinks.

I like the movie, especially the cartoon about how the African-Slave and KKK came about.. I thought it was hilarious! 😀

I think he's the comic book guy except without the humor. So, instead of being both pathetic and funny, he's just pathetic.

I Don't like him. I grew up in the same town as him and have been subjected to his commie pinko rantings most of my life. The fact is he distorts the truth to suit his view of the world or what he thinks the most profitable view for his next documentary will be. :disgust:

If I had seen that on SNL or something, I would have laughed. But it was in a DOCUMENTARY!!!! What kind of sicko puts inaccurate propeganda like that in a documentary and passes it off as fact???
