Yes, absolutely. I do it discreetly so I don't look like an idiot but I do it whenever I want. My girlfriend doesn't mind at all - she trusts me 100% and she knows she can.
 
I think I personally check out the behind of every girl I see, sometimes you can even catch the illusive "perfect peach butt". But how are you going to find it if you don't look at every single fruit?

anyone can people-watch and admire someone from afar. i don't know that it's a "right". it's just human nature.
