Yes. I equip all my PCs with floppy drives. They're just extremely handy. And if you want to transfer a 10KB file when the network is down, floppies are everywhere - at least here they are. Ah, the benefits of checking what's going out for the trash at a corporation. Sometimes they throw out a full cubic foot-sized case of fully functional floppy disks. Always one around when you need it. Sure a USB thumbdrive is nice, but I've only got one of those, and I can never seem to find it right when I need it.
Handy too when you're servicing an ancient PC whose CD-ROM firmware hasn't been updated since it left the factory many years ago, and it can't see any of the 8x and faster CD-RW's you keep around for quick boot discs.
