POLL: Do you drink Coffee?

Right now there's too much blood in my coffee stream....

I think coffee is definitely an acquired taste, or lack thereof if you drink that MCDonalds or Starsucks crap. Good coffee is like Scotch, just not as old....

Definitely coffee. I've got my burr grinder, french press, drip maker and espresso machine(a real one with a boiler, not the lame Krups steamdriven toys)

I found that I was constantly being offered coffee, both in business and social settings. After years, literally, of politely refusing, I decided that I would take the next person up on the offer. The "next" time happened to be at Ryan?s Steakhouse, and I thought my wife would fall out when I told the waitress that I would like coffee, caffeinated and black. (If I was going to drink coffee, I was going to be a man about it).

I actually enjoyed that cup of coffee a great deal. I guess my taste had changed over the 15+ years since I had last tried coffee.

The next time, socially, was different, as it was awful.

I currently drink 4 or so cups daily, but I prefer premium coffee. Cafe Sello Rojo, one of the world's finest coffee's

FWIW- I'm definitely a coffee drinker...although a cup in the morning is really all I ever want. Any more than that and I'm running around like a cracked-out chipmunk.

i drink about 5 "cups" per week (some of the cups are pretty large), but never mcdonald's, gas station, or similar quality stuff. i started when i was about 20 because i had classes from 8AM until 10PM & needed to stay awake & alert.

Ha ha, I started in high school, skipping class at Burger King.

EDIT: It was a somewhat acquired taste, but it didn't take me very long. I started out loading it with sugar, but within a few weeks of my friends telling me to "be tough," and not ruin the coffee, the sugar was gone. I've been drinking my coffee black for 12 years now.

Even with sugar, i dont really like the taste though. Maybe i should take some suggestions mentioned above and try some real stuff. Maybe i'll feel differently...
