I love both equally :D

I enjoy real coffee, it has to be strong and black and freshly ground - I cannot stand the freeze dried stuff.

Coffee rocks. I drink about 4 cups a day. You have to drink good coffee though, the stuff at McDonald's is utter swill.

For those who like it: Was it an acquired taste, or did you always like it?

I love coffee, started drinking it when I was about 17, I think. I think the reason many people start out not liking coffee is because their first experience is with crapola coffee. Quality coffee can make a big different on your palate :)

You have to learn to like alot of things in life: beer, wine, coffee, spicy foods, etc, etc....all favorites of mine.

I didn't love it when I first started drinking it, but I didn't dislike it either. Now, a great cup of coffee is an ethereal experience :)

Very true.

About the acquired taste question, I've always liked coffee, but it's only been in the last year or so that I've really started to prefer it black. Only problem I have with coffee is that by the time it's strong enough to be good, it's also strong enough to cause some really bad heartburn.

I always drink coffee now. it's cheaper than mt dew, cause we get it at work for free. for me it was an aquired taste. i hated coffee until i went to the UK for a 5 week college trip. over there it was drink tea or coffee and tea sucked my....well you get the idea. so i started drinking coffee and it just kinda got more and more from there. you might want to try a Mocha Latte at a local coffee shop if you want to try the chocolate/coffee type stuff. that is usually what i get...and it is VERY good. i probably wouldn't drink coffee if i hadn't went to England and Ireland.

Hey - tea is a great drink too :) - I guess you have to be British to love it. Only problem is that tea is a diuretic (did I spell that right??) and makes you pee!
