I have run into people who like wont drive a manual. They just dont get it. I think that if they dont have the brain power to be able to drive an automatic then they shouldnt be allowed to drive.
Fine then you don't deserve a hamburger unless you know how to kill a cow, gut pile it and butcher it

I can do that. :)

Well, I've done it with a deer, anyway. Can't be much different.

My point is if they cant handle counting from 1-5 with a little stick while using a whole extra pedal then they shouldnt be in control of a rolling death contraption.

Learned with an auto. Been driving RWD auto in winter Canada for 7yrs accident free. Only recently have I made my first automobile purchase that's a manual. No regrets at all. Only 3 months into it, and still stall on rare occasion. Totally different driving experience.

With a manual, you can maximize the power potential of the vehicle and have immediate control over the entire power band of where you want it to be. It's like a slider bar between fuel efficiency and power. You choose.

Better off to start off learning to get a licence with an auto. Less to worry about.
