I don't know that Sunnis are Muslims? The Shias disagree.

It's fairly fucking simple, if you do good things you are a Christian, if you do bad things you are a Muslim.

So pedophile priests are Muslims.

However according to this way of interpeting faith, all Christians are Muslims, more or less.

lol

Religion was the excuse they used to fulfill their greed, and a great marketing tool.

That's true for Christianity, not for Islam which was more about pure power and certainly not for Hinduism which was purely about slaves and women always being slaves.

Buddhism doesn't seem to work much like that either, neither do norse mythology or any other faith.

It seems to be just Christianity as developed by those who interpreted it who stood to gain from their very own interpretation.

Kinda like how Paul destroyed Jesus's Church (Church of Jerusalem) and got high a lot and dreamt up shit that wasn't even close to anything that Jesus ever said and yet he's the only twat who make rules that all Christians follow.

Yeah, it's silly as hell... You'd think that the talking snake, men from dirt, women from a rib, talking donkey, guy building a boat bigger than any continent in a few days, guy living in a whales stomach for 40 days... you'd think those little things would matter but nah, it's this...

Excuse me, i can't stop laughing... they are so fucking daft...

Cheers brother, all well on the eastern front?

All is well here in the northern part as always.
The south seems to be heating up, but I expect that to slowly start calming down sometime around the middle of November, after some horrible crying here in PnN.
Things should start to return to normal around Christmas.
;)

Probably for the same reason why the Romans went around feeding christians to lions. It was a 1000 years ago and life was brutal and miserable.

The world would be a better place if they had finished the job.Feeding all the religous zealots to loins is a massively appealing and easily executed plan. Plus lions are hungry:twisted:

I dunno, feeding to loins usually results in more of the same...

I wonder if your grandkids will grow up calling you Grumpster... hehehehe? Mine did! Now my 3 yr old great granddaughter started up with that... omg...:)

What I loved most about the Catholic Church was the selling of indulgences... I mean that is really a great idea... you can fund wars and feed the clergy on that income alone... everyone is a sinner... and no one wants sitting in purgatory all that long...
I guess now there are only a few ways to get out early... wearing a gizmo.. scapular (spelling?), doing a few prayers and stations of the cross, I think... probably others related to having to be in the church so you can buy a candle or simply give the money to the box...
You'd think this guy in the clouds might have sorted out his finances by now...

Yeah, they're Muslims too!

I'm kinda simple...

Either you believe in a God... You don't believe in a God... or are in some phase of those conditions.

Muslims are just like Christians and Jews and anyone else who believes in God...
You just gotta love God... he loves you!.... He actually went so far as to create Hell for you... Now that is my kinda love...

I've actually been the commanding officer of the unit my daughter was in for a while so she already knows i'm and arse when i need to be.

I actually raised two children while being in three battlefields and i can tell you one thing, thank god for grandparents.

I just hope i'll be home in time, it's the kind of thing that a man shouldn't miss, well you know that...

My favourite was that no one is responsible for anything they do to you, it's your own fault, at least that is what i was told, i think that if i wouldn't have rejected it and wouldn't have been thrown out by my parents i would be worse off...

But yeah, you'd think that they could just ask god for money, here's the deal church, ask god for money, if you are worthy, he'll give it to ya... have some fucking faith will ya!

Of course, they don't have any faith, just a swift pay check from the congregants, read directly from the bible once a week and collect tens of thousands a month, sweet deal, not to mention you get to fuck as many parishoners as you want, if they are underaged, well they'll just advise them to shut up in the name of god and that's about it.

All well Lunar?

Well i just established that according to US christians all people who ever do anything wrong are Muslims, so in essence, everyone who is a Christian is a Muslim.

Personally, i've found that knowing what is right and wrong helps me more than any religion ever can and i was born with empathy so i have an inherent evolved sense of that, that is also why we, as a species can survive as a social species.

I think that if we embrace our inherent humanity, we can take the first step of evolution since we became humans.

Hell though, that's just for Christians, the lot of them, and they are experiencing it on earth as it is, all their hate, all their prejudice, all their longing to be just when their version of just is just dictatorship ruled by an imaginary being and their law interpreted differently depending on what cult they are from.

No i do not like Christians, except with ham.

I'm alive and 'kickin' and hope you stay that way too!

I went to Catholic Academy for everything (below University) populated by Nuns and Jesuits... they taught me to reject them... not God but them...
Gold... so much gold... all over the place is gold... I once asked a Jesuit... Brother Thomas was his name... Why do you think God wants having all that gold laying about in candle holders and in all that other gold stuff and altars of such costly magnificance... and why do you tell folks they should give 10% of their earnings - before tax - to the church... You'd think God would settle for the person's soul... He said, more or less, by giving to God's work people are freed from their greed!... I thought that was brilliant! And then I see all these preachers preaching to the choir (so to speak) and asking for money to continue to do that... Brilliant! I drove past one such Brilliant person... Jimmy Swaggert... Had a freakin mansion surrounded by a masonry wall... Brilliant! Might have been the nicest 'home' in all the city there... if not the state...
From the time of the Templars until today it is about Power and Money... Money and Power... they are linked, those words... God... he's simply the vehicle used to attain that!... Freakin Brilliant!!!

Anyhow, You stay safe and lead your men safely home... EDIT: And Women if any...

I suppose the Christian is Muslim and the Muslim is Christian... I wonder when the Anti Christ will emerge from Mecca? :D():)

It has been my experience in every place i've been and in EVERY place i have ever been the wars have beein religious, Christians, Muslim and Hindus, and common people say the same thing, they are not part of my faith, but they support them through prayer and money, have no doubt about that, the LRA are supported by every Evangelical and Catholic Chrurch in every nation and yet if you ask them the LRA are not Christian.

"The efficiency of the truly national leader consists primarily in preventing the division of the attention of a people, and always in concentrating it on a single enemy." - Adolf Hitler

For GW, that single enemy was the Muslims, for the teabaggers it's the Brown people... funny thing is, can ANYONE think of who Clinton or Obama has portrayed in that way?

I know our socialist Labour party did portray Muslims that way, i can't think of who the conservative Tory party or the Liberal pary demonises in any way.

That just goes to show that some people, like Blair and GW are just dishonest fucks and that the nationalistic thinking that is now socialist too (we need to take care of our own) is something that is so easily sold during any crisis.

Our integrity is steadfast, we are the wall and no one can pass that is what we used to be, now... i guess it up to us who are sane to vote and hope that insanity doesn't take over our nations.

I'm not all that Jewy, not practicing and if i was ham would be enough for me to break any pledge. I'm weak willed when it comes to religious practice but extremely strong willed when it comes to justice, to the point that i will stand my ground even when the outcome is certain pain or death, i owe it to those before me, but all i got the last time was friendly fire in the arse, actually literally, in the tailbone.

Now this is confusing, if the anti-Christ would emerge from Mecca, wouldn't he be .. Christ per the anti anti Christ definition? Or would he be Muslim... or both at the same time?

Though i want green eggs with that ham... ;)

Yeah, getting shot IS a pain in the arse regardless of where it enters or emerges!

Well, assuming there is an anti-Christ and scrolls and grey horses and all that, it seems he's suppose to be a tricky sorta fellow. Maybe not all that tricky cuz most of the people will follow him just like they follow any other Anti-Christ leader who emerges and goes about killing folks cuz they can.
One thing for sure... When the right leader is desparate enough and needs to garner followers into some insane adventure he'll use that as the reason. So... to answer the question... The Anti-Christ has been with us for ages. He is manifest in the evil that people do unto other people.
I'm not really able to 'turn the other cheek'. I'm more prone to advise that 'I can't keep you from trying but I'll surely try to break you of the habit'... Which means that; although insanity may prevail from time to time and I may have gotten caught up in prosecuting it here and there, I'm too dumb to know truth from the lies but have to live to find out....

Green eggs omg... and ham... Lehayim :D

Then you are really, really old. Is that you Helen Thomas?

The Crusades were an attempt to retake Christian lands (remember, even Egypt and Ethiopia were once Christian lands) that had been conquered and forcibly converted by Islam. Somewhere along the way (as in almost immediately) those in control branched off to other, less spiritual tasks, like looting every city they passed and wiping out Genoa for the benefit of Venice (if I remember correctly, too lazy too look it up.) So Islam and Christianity both played into causing the Crusades, as did secular interests like needing someplace to send excess warriors and noble causes for younger sons.

Don't you like how people try to blame only one side for certain actions. They can only think in black and white terms. They want us to be tolerant and compassionate towards Muslims and people of other faiths, but then turn around and talk shit about Christians. They act like Christians are the only ones to kill people in the name of God. Or they come up with some radical theories that Al Quada caused 9/11 to get America to attack a Muslim country to start a "holy war". These are the same people that blamed Bush/Cheney for 9/11. Basically, they don't want to see the truth, and have been conditioned to do what a lot of people have been conditioned to do, pass the blame.

You're passing blame onto the conditioned created by your own conditioning. You are a poster boy for 'conditioned'

Da woims is in da piggy not da Good Book.

Ah... so the natural order of things put them there woims in the Piggy cuz either God said or Nature said or both said...

I have to think that way back when God might have said or Nature said they didn't have the means to determine woims go into muskles... So who made this story up? I think the same folks who said Jesus cast the demons into the swine... ergo, demons go into the muscles of folks and make em evil... :)

You say them woims are present in piggy cuz today we can see it, if we do. And since I doubt we genetically engineered them muscle attacking woims into the piggy it must be a naturally occurring event and of no concern cuz if it was we'd have become extinct by now... lots of folks eat porky...
I think the Jew and the Muslim and other non porky gobblers had to find some animal to deny the eating of so they could punish folks for breaking that law... ():)

I thought we punish folk for breaking laws because it's for their own good. It concentrates the attention on doing better, so to speak. We are soon going to have to ration people's intake to keep them thin and healthy, I think. Fuck um if they don't like it.
