I'm just going to stae why I am a republicn. Over all, I believe in the simplicity of less government control over the government being in charge of everything.

However, that said, on key issues, I look at both canidates, and will vote for who I feel is best, yes I am a card carrying republican, but in elcetions I will vote who i feel is best, so I guess I am a pretty liberal republican. But I do tend to belive in more of their stances then democrats.

If Republicans actually behaved that way instead of just talking the talk I'd be a republican too.

Because the Republicans try to force their Christian morals on the rest of the country.

You can be an intelligent poster, but when you spout out things like this, it makes you look uniformed and silly. I consider myself an agnostic, but I am most definitely a Republican. So where do I fit in your stereotype?

There are plenty of Republicans who are not pushing the Christian moral agenda, but as whole, they seem to back what I consider to be forcing morality on others.

I see examples of this as,

Abortion Laws
Faith Based Inititives
School Vouchers
Not backing equality for homosexuals
Prayer in Schools

Irrelevant. A fetus threatening a mother's life is nothing more than a tumor to be excised.

A fetus threatening a mother's life is a sad situation, but like Siamese twins, they're both citizens. Well, they WILL both be citizens once the Supreme Court comes around. Just a matter of time...

...forcing morality on others...

You said it, I didn't. Prove it!

I don't know where everyone gets the idea that only the rich benifit from Republicans. If that was the case, about 50% of the US population must be rich since the last presidential election was almost 50/50 and if that is the case, only 50% of the country is in middle of lower end of the economic scale. I thought that Democrates are saying that only 5% of the population (the Rich) will benifit from the tax reduction plan. So what is it, 5% or 50% of the US population are rich?

The entire population didn't vote in the last election.
