Republicans in general are just too anti- middle class.

I think I have asked this before, but how are republicans anti middle class?

Here you go

There are hundreds of google links>>> "Republicans anti- middle class"

You really ought to link to another one then. I didn't read that whole thing because the first example regarding the inheritence tax is way off. This actually hurts middle-class more than anyone else, they are the ones who have to sell off family businesses in many instances because they can't afford to inherit them. And guess who then buys up those businesses? Upper-class people who are already rich, and now they can make even more money.
\

Explain to me how transfering wealth from one individual to another should'nt be taxed? And the first 600K is tax free. This includes all "middle class".

BTW gonad, If they had half a brian you could set up a trust or company, transfer, and pay no taxes. Go to your private banker and ask about it. I can assure you it';s legit.

Because this isn't just transfering wealth from one individual to another. It's inheritence, from a family member. Should your kids pay taxes on their Christmas presents? Their allowance? How about their college funds? IT's all transfer of wealth, but they aren't business transactions. They are family matters, and government should really stay the fvck out of family matters. Besides, it's not like it all hasn't been taxed once from whomever earned it already.

And I know there are ways to get around the taxes. But the problem is, middle-class folks would have to think like upper-class folks to even know to seek them out. Many don't, and this get hit by this a lot more frequently than the upper-class do. And 600K is not that much money when you are considering it's somene's entire estate that they've accumulated over a lifetime.

Libertarian is the way to be; personal freedom combined with economic freedom. In my opinion, democrat is the lesser of two evils; i value personal freedom the most. The republican party has no right to be the self appointed moral authority; who are they to say someone can't have an abortion. They don't have the right to rule our personal lives. Additionally, economic freedom is preferable as well; you get out what you put in... it is not the responsibility of those with money to keep the poor alive; its social-darwinism, the strong survive, so if you're not surviving, start trying for once...

The problem with the parties is this:
The democrats support the trash and bums of America
The Republicans support the rich and upper class of America
Third parties are a waste of a vote
Since I don't plan on being a useless bum, I vote for the party that would support me; moreover, I'm so sick of the leftist parties like the "human rights people" but say nothing of saddam's history on human rights, the "feminists" who say nothing of the horrors of females in the arab world, and the "environmentalists" that say nothing of saddam's oil fires.
I put the groups names in quotes because they do not support their causes otherwise they would have been much more willing to remove saddam, but they showed their true colors--partisan politics--(they are just the wing of the democratic party; therefore, if the republicans say go up they go down)
And if the democrats had their way, saddam would still be in power, we needed a STRONG president during times of war. It's simple, if you want things done, correctly, in international relations then you elect a republican because he will know when to say fuc# them the diplomacy isn't working, lets do it the right way, even if it involves the military.
Teddy said "walk quietly and carry a big stick," republicans walk loudly and carry a big stick, and the democrats walk quietly and carry no stick. I'd rather have the person who carries the big stick, so to speak, when negotiations are not working.

I'd assassignate her, before id vote for her. This just shows how fuc#ed up the democratic party is if I'm a VERY strong conservative and she is considered one of the more conservative/central democrats. She's close to a communist and on hard issues (issues that could cost elections) she says nothing, so what does that make the democrates below her. Of course this poll/test is obviously poor quality.

But then we would find out about his positions. He seems like a very intelligent person who has a lot a leadership experience.

Come now, there's an 8 point spread between 6 and 15 for you. She wouldn't be so high, but there aren't many Republicans running. This has nothing to do with your incorrect opinion of the Democratic party.

Libertarians are FAR closer to the GOP on the issues. You do notice your Libertarion candidate is right next to the few Republicans in the selector, right?

Who are you to take away the personal freedom of the unborn? If anyone is in need of having their inalienable rights protected, they are. Why don't you champion their rights, if that's one of your main values?

If I thought that they had personal freedom that outweighed that of pregnant women, I'd agree with you. Who are you to take away the personal freedom of women?

Both her and her unborn child should have the exact same rights. Same rights that child enjoys two seconds after it's head leaves the womb. This ain't hard to understand, just hard for some people to digest.

And it's hard for others to digest that women should have complete control over what happens to their bodies. That's the last I'm saying about this since it has nothing to do with the topic other than it's probably the main reason I don't vote for many Republicans.

What this has done is encourage irresponsibility and lack of standing up to though issues by either party. They are the same. You sracth my back, 'I'll scratch yours. They money in politics sickens me.

And as long as the bottom 1/2 can vote to pick the pockets of the upper 1/2, there will not be a balanced budget.

If you think that's what is happening I feel sorry for you. Check how much of the federal budget gets funneled to the bottom 50%. It might surpise. The transfer of weath is decideingly one direction. Bottom up.

Whens the last time a republican has proposed elimination of the income tax? I hear it all the time on capital gains.
It's going to take a little time and some research, but I'm pretty sure that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous that Republicans aren't getting rid of income tax since it's, you know, only funding the government and such. The rich PAY most of the taxes. If their "sector" gets most of the federal spending, then so be it. Capital gains tax is a ridiculous idea anyway. It's not like the rich get any special favors from taxes. The entire bottom 5% in America will never pay as much in taxes in their entire lives as a single person in the top 5% will pay in one year. I'm not saying it's wrong, but I don't want to hear complaints about how much the rich "aren't" taxed.

Oh, I'm sorry, but in your attempt to belittle him, you used the oxymoron "incorrect opinion." Now, on some occasions, that's possible, but the only opinion he puts forth is that the Democratic party is f***ed up. His reasoning behind this could be incorrect, but he doesn't offer any, so there's nothing to contend.

I'm just going to stae why I am a republicn. Over all, I believe in the simplicity of less government control over the government being in charge of everything.

However, that said, on key issues, I look at both canidates, and will vote for who I feel is best, yes I am a card carrying republican, but in elcetions I will vote who i feel is best, so I guess I am a pretty liberal republican. But I do tend to belive in more of their stances then democrats.

No im comparing her to the other 15 democrats below her. The only democrate that i trust is lieberman because he actually supported the iraq war BEFORE it was apparent that we were going to go in. Hilary is just so deceiteful, never tells here true beliefs, and in my opinion is the moral equivilant to the devil. And i also said that the poll/test has to be poor quality to put her so high on the list. Unless the democrats below her were decendents of stalin and lenin.
