Reading Yao Ming's car thread, I noticed it was interesting that BMW cars are called "bimmer" rather than "beamer".
Everyone I know calls a BMW car a "beamer" though and in fact is the first time I've heard of the word "bimmer".
So for a BMW car, do you say "beamer" or "bimmer"? And I'm curious if geography has anything to do with it so please state where you're from.
I'm not so much concerned about what's "right", but what people think.
I say beamer here, Vancouver, Canada.
Edit: I'm asking more for pronouciation for the poll, but state what you would do written in a post.
