Ah, back from the mall and I'm in a much better mood. Also, shopping for clothes sucks. All I wanted was to go find some sweaters, but all of the stores in our mall (small, crappy mall) seem to have nothing but Joe's Surf Shack sh!t, and I'm thinking wtf is Joe and nobody in Louisiana goes surfing why the fvck do they make this stuff? Or AE Wisconsin Football '44 or something, and I mean damn who the fvck was born in '44 and still shops at AE or something. I guess now that I think about it this is the text book definition of a bunch of posers, but I did manage to find a nice sweater there ($30 dollas though, so much for the after xmas sale).

Oh, and to whoever that was yeah you old folks will definitely have a different opinion than I will, no doubt, but also realize that good sh!t actually has been made since Floyd. Hell, better sh!t I might add (imo). I could list a couple badass doubles but I doubt more than 2 or 3 people on here has actually even listened to em. Lots of good stuff out there. Lots. I dunno it seems like every single music thread ends up with me b!tching about old people and their music, lol.

Anyways, I might need to drive to the mall 2 hours away to get some serious shopping done. I got all of this money for christmas and damnit I just want normal looking clothes that are nice and all. And no I'm not going to Wal-Mart. Only thing I buy there are these really poofy sweat shirts.

Oh, and I thought you were all kidding about the whole popped collar thing, but the guy that checked me out at AE was wearing a pink polo with the collar popped and I was like wow, I'm completely blown away by this.

I will cede that music as good as Floyd has been released since their demise, but certainly nothing better.
98% of all new music is simply refinement or imitation of something that came out over 20-25 years ago.

Oh bah. Music is definitely in the ear of the beholder. Floyd was good, I listen to DSOM all the time, but I dunno they were not god man (Corgan takes that, joking 😛). And no, 98% of the sh!t you listen to is simply refinement or imitation of something that came out over 20-25 years ago. Have a :beer:, I'm home for the holidays and my mamma is making loaded potato soup for dinner (this could be a good or bad thing, but I can't wait to find out).

The potato soup was, well, orgasmic. I normally hate her cooking, but damn this is good. 😀
