Poll: Best Blizzard Game ?

easily Starcraft, but... they're all really good. War3 and Diablo 2 are in my Top 5 online computer games, as with Counterstrike, Starcraft, and Red Alert. (it's too hard to compare online and non-online games)
 
easily SC, what blizz fan would ever vote on anything else

SC was the game that had distinct three races. I just don't like War3 in terms of creativity: all four races have the same tech tree format. tier 1: melee/ranged units, tier 2: two spellcasters, tier 3: heavy melee, air.

Although I love the game and play it more than SC now, it's a fairly dissapointing followup from SC...
 
Yea it is down for me as well. I just went there to see what they were up to these days. I hope there is a Starcraft II planned. Anyone ever play the first person shooter yet?

But it's one of the most balanced games out there. There was a good counter for everything - not like Warcraft 3 where a few strategies dominate and other strategies just won't work.

Ok, maybe not the entire game but perhaps 90% of it. The dude who wins almost ALWAYS is the dude who has the most units. I have seen hundreds if not 1,000 or more Star Craft games too, so this isn't just stuff I am pulling out of my butt.

there is no SCII planned as of now, although they'd be stupid not to milk SC sequel. Blizzard is already very occupied with WoW, War3 Expansion (due in june), SC Ghost, & another major patch for Diablo II. I suspect they'll annouce StarCraft 2 RTS around 2005-6. I said annouce, they'll take another 5 years making it. 😉

And there is no first person shooter for Blizzard, let alone SC. SC: Ghost is 3rd person. Get your facts straight 😉

watch some world class expert replays at theinclan.com. No offense but I bet you're not good at SC at all, let alone getting 1100+ ladder.
 
hmmm, so what is the objective of the game then?

build just drones and attack?

i think its build your units, upgrade then attack

Not really... I've seen plenty of games where people won with less units. its all about how u use it. Remeber those games where 3 DTs just slaugters everything on your screen?
