Grrr... my parents tricked me into eating insects (err... seafood)... I won't fall for any of it any longer. :|

Honestly though... why are they so high on soups ? Soups "designed" to fix certain problems... headaches... eyesight... do you believe in any of that (I'm asking cause I know you're somewhat in that generation).

Report: Blackhawks trying for No. 1 pick

TSN.ca Staff with files

6/18/2004

The Chicago Daily Herald reports that the Blackhawks are talking to the Washington Capitals about acquiring the first overall selection in the 2004 NHL Draft.

Assistant general manager Dale Tallon admitted to the paper on Thursday that the Hawks are 'aggressively' talking to the Capitals about acquiring the No. 1 pick and turning it into Russian phenom Alexander Ovechkin.

"We're trying to make every effort to get the first pick," Tallon told the Herald. "We're talking to Washington and we're talking to them aggressively. I know a few teams are trying. This is a franchise-type player we're talking about here."

Capitals GM George McPhee said earlier this week that he had yet to make up his mind on how to use the first pick on June 26 in Raleigh, N.C.

McPhee told NHL.com he still wanted to interview Evgeni Malkin, the other Russian forward considered a top prospect.

I read a Washington Post article about McPhee being undecided. In context, he said that he still has to leave the door open for the #1 pick UNTIL he interviews Malkin. He wasn't going to say "ok Ovechkin is ours" without hearing from the 2nd runner up. Also he says: "It makes sense to listen to offers" which I don't disagree with but come on...

In reality... if he wants to keep his job, it's Ovechkin. The guy will put asses in the seats. ;) The guy is touted to be better than 18-year old leading goal scorer Kovalchuk... more well rounded... an Iginla type.

(man I love hyping this guy up) :D

So we went to Sam Woo, and my stupid cousin ordered this $33.00 bowl of soup (shark fin), despite my fervent effort to tell him how much it sucks.

EDIT: and it's a small bowl too, for one person.

After all this... if the NHL doesn't have a season, I'll bust some heads.

You should just add a "Taiwanese" option to shut them up. People who consider Taiwanese ethnically Chinese can add up the two categories.

Actually while you are at it, why not add "Shanghainese", "Sczhuanese" "Cantonese" etc since they are all obviously different in cultures

And what happened to the rest of Asia?

Edit: OPTION: Vietnamese/Chinese.

that's debatable. Philippines is different than the other countries in Asia and Pacific Islanders. Due to their many different colonizers, it comes down to how much history you know and what cultural similarities you make to other ethnicities.
