Tried to but got some screwy message about my credit card which is fully paid up and active. I suppose I'll try again but with all the subscribers moving ta the pay server this one has gotten faster I believe!

Well I am not a suscriber, the reason is simple for me. From the very beginning of this site I have came in through the main page and made it a point to click on all the banner add's to get some money to support the site. This is the best site of its kind on the net in my opinion because of the tough stance the moderators take. But I feel I have been short changed a little when you consider that it is the members that make the site work, it takes a co-operative effort on both the provider and the user to make a large site work.

what do you mean you never got it?

you just have to go to subscriber.anandtech.com and log in...

Thanks for assuming I'm an idiot. :|

The subscribtion page said after I entered my credit card info, I would be asked fro my username, and THEN I would be able to log in to the subscriber site. The thing is, after I entered my credit card info, the site said it rejected my card. However, I called my credit card company and found I had already been charged the $30. :|:|:|:|

So now someone has $30 of MY hard-earned cash, and I'm still stuck with the slow-ass non subscriber forum.

No, but I sent an e-mail to Anand. He replied, but that was the last thing I heard about it. That was about a month ago. A week ago, I sent another email, but never got a reply.
