Poll addicts-Updated!!!

Kerry wins, much to my surprise.

We'll see....

I read a research paper yesterday that said 72% of undecideds vote for the challenger. Most of the polls are using a 2-1 ratio, which means support for Kerry is about .1% higher than predicted. Young voters are the big question mark. Will they vote or get laid on November 2, or will they MULTITASK? 🙂

Funny how it contrasts so much with today...10-26

As mentioned many times previously, EV is horribly flawed, and the website has taken down the link to the projected final vote from it's main page. Oops, my bad, it's back...

Well there is a lot more Kerry stickers on cars here in Louisiana than there has been till now.

Louisiana will still likely go Bush because of the Radical Religious and Rich Elites but if the showing is like this around the Country it will certainly be close enough to be interesting.

Aimster:

My old training partner tells me that Northern Virginia will go Kerry, while the rest of the state will go Bush. He thinks it unlikely Viriginia will swing to Kerry, but it IS remotely possible. For Bush to lose a Southern state (other than FL., which really isn't the South) would be a major statement to our elected officials.

But, Ohio is the state I can't get over. Imagine Ohio going to Kerry? The mind boggles....

we're seeing EV shift so often because of both Ohio and Florida. The race is so close there that it is either slight Kerry or slight Bush depending on which poll you take. Nobody will know until election day though.

I will note one thing, Kerry has an advantage with undecided voters and with young voters. Large turnout, Kerry beats bush. Mediocre turnout, Bush squeezes by. Based on the absentee and early voting results, I'd say we're gonna have a large turnout but who knows.

Yup, it APPEARS close.

The Bushies must be sweating bullets. To think Bush would have been a shoo-in if he hadn't invaded Iraq.

I know Bush will win, but this year I think it'll be by only 1-3%. In 2008 Virginia will probably be a swing state IMO. You're friend is right about how NO-VA is most likely going for Kerry (where I'm from) and the south is going all out for Bush.

It's the Mason-Dixon Line all over again.

If Bush wins I predict it will be the start of Civil War II because the U.S. has a good chance of not surviving another 4 years of this Regime.

Depends on how bad it gets, how many more people get directly affected by the downfall.

Won't do any good when you're seriously outnumbered by desperate people.

Quite off topic, but in reply to dmcowen674 that is plenty of stash.

Honestly he could be out numbered by 'desperate' individuals, but whos willing to be the first man blasted in the face from an M16 or shotty?

When Bush is re-elected its not like liberals will turn into zombies.

Seriously though, guns are tools, different tools for different jobs, I have a collection of hammers too. Neither hammers or guns have turned me into a murdering lunatic.

I can actually track down to the freaking day I turned into a neocon. Was a card carrying liberal till I got assaulted one day in my yard, called 911 right away, but got assaulted, bad guys drove off, police showed up 5 minutes later, caught the bad guys 4 hours later, they went to jail.

Pliablemoose thought to himself, why oh why did I sell all my guns when I was in college, had the bad guys intended to kill me or rape my wife/children, or rob us, they would have done so before the police got here, damage would already have been done...

Since my conversion to gun toting neocon, I've stopped 2 robberies with handguns, and another assault. Bad guys went to jail each time.

Uh... I don't get it. How did that turn you into a neocon? You couldn't support the 2nd amendment or stop robberies if you were a liberal?

Virginia for Kerry!

no way. but Pennsylvania might go for Kerry, Minnesota has a bigger chance even. heck, New Mexico might even go for Bush, remember that Gore only won NM by about 500 votes.

Not the kind of liberal I was, plus I started making a bit of $, plus I started running into the liberal family court system & won. Am one of the 1% of men awarded custody of a child under the age of 10 in a disputed custody case. that & seeing EEO @ work for a decade or so:|

Of course I'm Batman now & above simple politics.

The guy who runs EV.com is a liberal, democratic partisan hack.

Up until a week or two ago, his "Final Projection" consistently showed a massive blowout in favor of Bush. He didn't like that, so he pulled a new method out of his ass that shows Kerry winning. It's meaningless.
