The interesting thing about those benchies that leads to a question is, what other than 8x seperates the 4x and 8x versions of the G4 440MX that results in the 8X being as much as 15fps faster in some situations?Originally posted by: bunnyfubbles
considering that the GeForce 4 MX line is essentially a revamped GF2 core (DX7), the MX440-8x should be at least, if not faster, than a GeForce 2 Ultra. So yes, it should be hands down faster than the GTS

Here's some proof
THe 440MX-8x is clocked faster that's the difference not the 8x agp.
275/512 for the 8x agp version. The 4x agp is 270/400
