the hypocrisy is thick in this thread...

i seem to remember certain people being quite butthurt about a single school in sweden teaching a genderless curriculum..but somehow "isolated" cases of police brutality being reported is an outrage...
 
IF true then they need to be fired and charged.

this is rather disgusting. they need to take time and learn to do the job not just go off.

but i would like to look and see if other news stories on it..

This should be a criminal as well as civil. WTF is wrong with police officers? Can we only hire black policemen from now on, so that they wont have tiny penis anger syndrome?

I agree that this sounds bad as an incident.

Most cops aren't insane like this.

Not sure where you're going with the black thing. That cop that shot the unarmed USAF guy in California a couple years back was black. He was the one recorded on camera telling him to 'get up', and when the guy tried to comply, slowly, he was shot for it, multiple times at close range. Cop got off scot-free, with full salary and benefits, and got to enjoy a paid vacation as well.

This to me is the fundamental issue that I think angers so many. It's not that all, or even most cops are bad. It's that the justice that they are supposed to be upholding seems to be frequently pushed aside in pursuit of relentless protection of their own.

This is in stark contrast to military duty, where malfeasance is looked upon as severely dishonorable, and the perps are not coddled and babied in such a manner.

In short, most cops = good, but this thin blue line bullshit needs to go.

Yet you never see him post good stories on how police have done their job and helped the public.


Probably had an incident in his early teens with the police when he came off looking like a fool and it has carried over into his brief adult life.
