OANN I've only ever heard of recently - specifically from other news reporting on them being at white house press briefings... I still have no idea how to even access their media. I presume it all streams from their websites?

I also have no idea what you're referring to when you say RT.

So... yeah, cant say those are mainstream.

Trump campaign bitching no comments from from Biden in 3 days on the violence in Kenosha but he has said nothing about the shooting of Jacob Blake

Biden gave an interview concerning events in Kenosha this afternoon

So people trying to stop a murderer are dummies...got it.

It was clear that it wasn't a shooting spree, so there's no point in attempting a citizen's arrest. The same people hate cops for perceiving trivial threats. This is just like that. Bad assessment on threat level he posed to public and risk in trying to detain him.

It is when it's illegal for him to do so, since he is a minor.

The statement I quoted wasn't specifically about the kid from what I could tell.

It's not about provocation but yes, I could see the state using the illegal possession as a base felony and then triggering a felony murder statute, which I think is a stupid concept personally.

"Mob rushes towards guy with a gun"
*Guy is running away, clearly attempting to avoid confrontation*
*Mob continues to gain, getting close and doesn't back away*
"Guy starts shooting at them literally after they are at the point of right in front of him"
"Mob says 'OMG Citizens ARREST!!!'"

fancy logic these guys juggle through their tiny brains.

This kid was no trivial threat, he had just murdered someone and was fleeing the scene of a crime.

oh BOO Hoo

Yea, I am sure Fox and OANN are completely unbiased.

You were already beaten on that incredibly dumb point - try to keep up skippy.

Fox easily falls in the group of mainstream media - but that would require rational thinking, and apparently that's just too difficult for most here.

There is no proof. It was just some random guy who assaulted the man.

Clickbait is more like it.
So in the middle of riot and looting, a totally random person not affiliated with any of the groups participating in the rioting and looting was just passing through and thought it was a good idea to beat up some old dude protecting a business

There are still gaps, but this timeline from a NYT reporter seems very robust given the current info:

Most pertinent bits are:

-Rittenhouse left the dealership he was protecting for an unknown reason, and six minutes before the shooting attempted to return only to be barred by police.

-The first gunshot was not from Rittenhouse. Another individual behind the person chasing him fired a pistol into the air.

-Rittenhouse for sure fired four times at his pursuer. Three additional shots are heard afterwards, but it's unclear where these came from.

Still waiting for your reply about what I stated in this thread as "facts" as other posters or guilt/innocent about anyone in this case.

Take your time, cupcake. You don't want to be a "dishonest shit" (your very own words), right?
It's the argument that you are trying to weave...giving obvious opinions and screaming at anyone else for doing the same based on the video evidence that's been available for several days.
"Oh but *I* won't pass judgement...I'll just keep blaming everyone else for doing it. Best wait for facts."

Fuck off. It's dishonest and disingenuous and most of us can see it.

edit: since you obviously have reading comprehension issues and trouble following convos, the projection comment was to Starbuck. It's okay though, we know you project plenty too, "cupcake". 🙄

This country is so fucked. My only problem now is I don't have the easily transferable career to move the fuck out right now.
I'm working remotely right now but I am not able to just move out of the country with my current job because I still have to go in sometimes.

If I could land another full time gig making my salary that allowed for fully remote I would move out of the country in a heartbeat.
