Not only is that a terrible idea, but it could very well end up killing you. I happen to be a certified OC spray instructor so I have a decent idea about use of that stuff. Anyways, a police officer on or off duty is authorized to use deadly force if pepper sprayed.
 
I think Tasering her would be much, MUCH funnier. Especially if you could catch it all on video like the police do when they taser people. Watch her kick around on the ground screaming, and just keep yelling, "Don't get up! Don't get up or you're gonna get it again!"

I'd pay $20 to see that video.

People should take charge of their own defense. I never expect the police to help me out of a jam. I've helped police officers several times, ironically, to detain a resisting individual.

There were NO other witnesses that would love to see a cop go down for this kind of behavior? NO ONE?

Sorry guy but arguing with a clerk at a groccery store because he was rude its not only a waste of time, but as you have found out the results can be bad. How do you know that they did not just come back from thier break where they learned thorugh a phone call that someone wrecked thier car, or someone they are close to is in the hospital, or his wife/GF is having an affair? Not everyone can take off work in bad situations, and not everyone deals well with poor news.

You know nothing except they were rude and upset you...get over it. You sound like the baby in this situation because you didn't know all the facts and you reacted poorly and got b!tched slapped by a cop that wasn't going to tolerate your sh!t....good for her.

My two cents. You were told to leave. You should have left. You should not have been still there when the cops arrived. As soon as you started mouthing off to the clerk and were told to leave, that's when you should have left. Remember that the next time. And Never, NEVER, start an argument with a police officer. You are lucky they did not throw the book at you. At that point when you walked out the door, you already ready had several violations for which you could be charged. To name a few, trespassing, disturbing the peace, public intoxication( A guess, but I bet it's true), disobeying Police orders. You had no side here, you had no rights whatsoever to remain in the building once you were told to leave. And you had the stupidity(What else can you call it?) to continue to refuse to cooperate when the cops told you to leave. Right there you proved the store's case. Your report of brutality will go nowhere. There are eyewitnesses in the store who saw you beligerence, nobody is gonna back you up -- you're the bad guy.

Resisted Arrest

and not to mention, Disobeyed a Direct Order from a LEO (more than once mind you), which is a ticketable offense.

Maybe I missed something, but how did he resist arrest if he was never arrested and the police officer never said 'You're under arrest' but simply said 'stop'.

After refusing a direct order from a police officer, he was subdued and they were placing the cuffs on him. Had the police officers actually gone through and formally arrested him instead of simply restraining him, he could've been charged with resisting arrest.
