And if this was the case, the company that is responsible for Fastrak (Fastrak Inc? never heard of this sort of thing, guess it's like Speedpass) would definitely put in some serious R&D to get their crappy technology to work properly. Why do the people hurry to get behind the buses then if they don't know that the poles are going to come up? They are doing it to try to beat the poles. Otherwise, why rush to get in behind the bus?
It'd be disastrous initially for the impatient and the stupid. Once people realize that they can't cheat the toll system, they'll slow the hell down and pay what they have to pay. Either that, or you pay for a new car as well as a fine.
