If you can't solve (5 choose 1), then you should seroiusly get your head examined. What, did you not pass 2nd level Algebra which was already 8 years ago for me? You asked for COMBINATIONS and someone gives you a freaking answer in terms of combinatorics and you complain and bitch?

If I asked for help like you did and the answer was what "txrandom" gave me, that would be the answer pretty much. He's not being an ass. If I asked you how many watts does FIFTY FIVE (55) GeForce 8800s consume if they each use 298W, and you told me it's 55 * 298, that's good enough. Not everyone wants to do calculator work for everyone, and if giving a sufficiently close-to-the-exact answer response is what someone did, you should be THANKFUL.

IF you don't know how to solve N CHOOSE K, get a freaking TI-89 to do the work. Hell, look up combinations on google and I'm sure a Java-based calculator could do it for you. Otherwise, STFU and do your own homework.

Bottom line is: How does your answer compare to txrandom's answer? Or are you just too stupid and retarded to even calculate that? Do you not know how to solve combinations? IF you're still in high school math maybe I can forgive you, but if you're older than me, I believe you deserve a ban for being an ass on this board.

If they didn't give me the answer they didn't help me. How the hell do you know what i wanted the correct answer for and not just the equation?

For future reference, since you somehow failed to learn this in your 54 years of life, perhaps a tact like this will net better results:

"Thank you very much for the equation but thats not exactly what I was looking for. Could you please give me the actual answer so I can check it against mine?"

Not only will that net better results for your request but I am willing to bet you would get much better assistance in the future should you have another question.

I will save you the time of actually making a reply to my post by doing it for you.

Hey, aside from the fact i was told (not in exact words mind you) that i probably have the brains of a stupid ,lazy, clam the thread was a raging success. I do have one issue that sticks in my craw though. Who the hell rated my thread with only one star? If i ever get my hands on him/her their going to be Ugly Losers. And speaking of ugly losers i hope my calling you ugly losers hurts you to the core , makes you suicidal, and you bawl all night. But, if one of you Ugly Losers was to change my threads rating (I like 4 or better) i won't call you an Ugly Loser anymore.

fwiw - I gave your thread ZERO stars. You're a little baby that can't think for himself. And you're the one that doesn't believe people make money playing poker online. If you're so good at poker, you should be excellent at math and be able to use txrandom's formula to easily come up with the answer.
