Grabbed the saw and went to take down about a 15' Cedar. Bird flew out. Checked and found the nest. Grabbed an extendable inspection mirror. Two eggs.

Any plans for the cedar wood? I guess you're talking about eastern red cedar?Grabbed the saw and went to take down about a 15' Cedar. Bird flew out. Checked and found the nest. Grabbed an extendable inspection mirror. Two eggs.

Guess which lot is mine :^DBig leaf maples are the weeds here (well, outside the forest, anyhow). There was a 15' sapling growing basically right at the property line, I asked my neighbor how he felt about it, he asked how I felt about it, I told him I don't want to have to rake up after it when it's grown. Turns out he was also interested in it being gone and he volunteered to take it down himself. So the only tree on the property I find myself needing to rake up after is a Japanese maple, and that's acceptable.
It's nice to have a grassy patch in the yard to kick a ball around with a kid.Guess which lot is mine :^D

Raking is for chumps. If the leaves weren't supposed to be on the ground, they wouldn't fall there. Also...
