Wow, "sus" used to be UK slang for figuring out what's actually going on in a given context. Now it means something akin to 'throwing shade.'

Why?

I placed an order yesterday on the Home Depot website for $25.00 to be shipped to my home. I have placed several orders there in the past, some with the same Citi CC. Immediately, I got an alert from CitiBank asking me to verify it which I did right away. Then I got an email from HD saying Citi had declined it and I had to place a new order which went through.

Today, I made a $125.00 down payment with a vehicle transport company via a website I've never used. That payment went though without question.

Why?
