Why should any news media be forced to publish opinions that they disagree with?

Why would we trust a Republican party-controlled government, once given control of the news media in to ensure 'fairness,' to not censor ideas and opinions that are contrary to their party?

Based on "studies" run by an organization whose stated goal is "to expose and neutralize the propaganda arm of the Left: the national news media." Those engaging in actual research don't have a specific result as their stated goal. That's political advocacy, not research.

It leaves Conservatives feeling oh so persecuted for their belief in lies. Trump is the most persecuted of all, obviously, because he tells the most lies. But they love those lies.

Where are they? The same place mom and pop stores are. Go ahead and open a small grocer and see if people shop there instead of Walmart. They won't. And for social media, being the established platform means an even bigger monopoly. As users and advertisers value size, aka market-share, above all else.

Though it would be exceedingly difficult to start a competitor these days, I do believe the GOP itself has the money and outreach to muster such an effort. If they feel slighted and harmed by existing providers, they are surely large enough to start their own.

You haven't established with any credible evidence that the alleged bias in mainstream social media is true. What you're suggesting would only serve to reinforce the bubble the conservatives currently live in by further segregating them from everyone else.

Who knew that giving corporations a huge tax break leading to record stock buybacks would drive the stock market up? Now imagine where it could have been without his stupid trade wars.

They did well during Obama (after a few months) but have gone parabolic upwards since Trump. Good stock price growth under Obama has become fabulous stock market growth under Trump, who also wasn't working off a Great Recession lowered base of initial comparison. It's not like Trump has really done anything besides the tax cut to create the investor enthusiasm yet he has, just as Clinton enjoyed stock market enthusiasm the same way without his policies seeming to have anything to do with it either (like Trump).

Meh..that website is hilarious...It's a shame REAL conservative thought has been thrown by the wayside. It's all turned into victimhood, blame, fear, and lies ..They are welcome to start they're own space for this "type" of thought. Even if it's not popular enough that people are tuning it out.

The Republican party has left these people; The true conservatives (financial, moral, small government). They are lashing out; looking for anything to ground themselves in the current morass that is the small-minded, simplistic, excuse the party has become. Many of these lost conservatives are intelligent, principled, well spoken. The party has been dumbed down to slogans. Truth and facts are irrelevant in these new surroundings. The familiar ground of the US Constitution, rule of law, of conservative thought has been perverted to serve a megalomaniac. These new bedfellows are the crude, the racists, the haters, the fearful. These principled conservatives are men and women adrift. Sad!

As someone currently starting a career, I sure am glad for this tax cut fueled stock market growth that I'll be paying for long after the 10% of the country who benefits from it is dead.

Seriously my GF and I are lucky enough to be able to afford investing in our 20s but pretty much everyone I know under 40 has nothing but a fuck you very much to say about the "tax cut."
