It's both amusing and scary (mostly scary) how obvious it is now that conservative complaints about Obama were nearly 100% projection. They were worried Obama was going to do to them what they wanted to do to liberals.

It is kind of funny that boomerang views an economy with a slower jobs growth rate and (currently) negative wage growth rate to be a time of great prosperity while thinking things during Obama were terrible.

In fact, let's look back on how boomerang viewed things in mid-2016!

Pretty much, when you're on the far-right everything else seems like the left. That's why my sides enter orbit whenever someone calls US Democrats (the party that can't get itself to agree on simple things like universal healthcare) the "left".

Funny, I don’t see a vast left-leaning bias when I search for “Clinton emails”, “Benghazi”, or “Uranium One”. Maybe, just maybe if conservative “news” outlets had anything else of substance to contribute to the national conversation on Trump, something that a majority of Americans actually choose to read, they’d fare better in the search results??
 
His staff is right now on the phone with Google, asking them to come up with a special Dear Leader Google that only returns good news.

If you don't like the fact that all the news about you is bad, maybe you need to try and not suck so much. Maybe he should be mad at his staff for only telling him the good news about him. Of course, he should wonder why it only takes them 4 seconds to do that each morning.

So...He wants Google to change its algorithms to prioritize certain 'news' sites to respond to specific queries that he comes up with. This could be just the break that Bing was looking for!

The Founders discussed this and Franklin said that "obnoxious" is sufficient and yes I know what that meant. Well if you were a Conservative, the driven to extinction kind, you would know and support it's use.

He admitted on TV to using campaign funds to pay off girlfriends so they didn't tell their stories right before an election. Why bother, if not to influence it? His (convicted felon) lawyer admitted setting up fake corporations to make the payments. Indicating they both knew it was wrong. Literally the only reason Trump isn't under indictment is the DOJ guideline regarding presidents.

If you're unclear how congress should proceed, imagine a black or woman president had done these things.
 
It's all fun and games until he actually does try to muzzle the free media. Would "we" actually let a President turn the media into state-sponsored only? At this point, I think a large number of people would cheer it on, and that is pretty terrifying. In the past, anyone floating threats like "it will be addressed" and questioning the legality of critical reporting would have seen their careers in jeopardy IMO....Trump just scores points with his supporters with this authoritarian shit.

If he weren't a political body snatcher of what once were Conservatives then he'd know that Congress has the Constitutional right to remove a President for impropriety, not just illegal activities. He would know what the Founders made of all of this sort of nonsense in the WH. Ron R would have slapped Trump. Goldwater Conservatives would have put a bit in Trump's mouth and ridden him out into the streets like the jackass he is, metaphorically of course.

The pro-KGB types would never have seen a day in office because America would not have had this lot.
 
Trump is unabashed narcissist. If something goes wrong, it's never his fault, it's always someone else. He's always right, everyone else is always wrong. Everything is about him, if Google finds disproportionate number of negative stories about him, it must be because they're conspiring against him, they're wrong, not him.

He's painfully predictable.

Is extreme narcissism a mental disorder worthy of removal from the office? In this specific case definitely yes, the man would not be able to function in a society if it wasn't for his money, but I don't think it's going to happen. And since Americans seem to be incapable from learning unless we suffer very direct and very dire consequences, it might be best to let it play out until the end. Maybe after everything goes to shit, maybe then the message will stick and Americans finally wise up.
