I hear everyone talking about taking an ATi Radeon 9800non-pro and *flashing the bios* to a Radeon 9800Pro.

What does this mean? How do I flash the bios to a Pro?? I am very curious because I am about to take a step in a new direction by buying an ATi card rather than nvidia. ATi seems to keep pulling ahead and I would really love to get my hands on a wonderful piece of hardware 🙂

This is more than I needed. Now all I have to do is decide on the non pro or play the waiting game 🙂
 
take my advice, get the non pro. the next ati card will be the 9800 Pro XT, which is an EXACT same 9800 pro but clocked at 415/730 for $399. a 9800 pro can be EASILY had for $250, flashed to a 9800 pro and overclocked to 415/700. basically, if u get a XT, you will be paying an extra $150 for 30 mhz faster memory
