I used to want a MIPS system (old SGI O2 workstation that I planned to get on ebay)...

But after thinking about it, I realized that it was better to ignore my desire to collect exotic computers

because they all suck at running DC projects (let alone useful software from which I could benefit!)

I should say that the old exotic systems you can buy on ebay all suck at DC...

... because the 200+ CPU x86-64 cluster systems running Linux wouldn't suck in the least!

Strangely, computers have been behaving very well for me lately.

Yes, it is better that she can stop. Less potential for accidents, lawsuits, etc.

Plus, she's happy. If she's happy, then I have a better chance for future upgrades.

/Officially ignoring this thread while not ignoring having to clean out the garage....I wish I could have ignored that part, but the wife says I've ignored the garage long enough!
