... and now it is time to say "Good night" to all crunchers - at least from Sweden and most of Europe ... :D

Good Night and sleep well!

Ray, that is a Hurculean effort! Did you get the servers and Exchange working? I must assume that that is the reason for your extended workshift.

Glad to see you have found time for officially ignoring! :D

Yep. Old server was too fubared, couldn't use ADMT, or anything else, so I had to manually setup an SBS2003 server (exchange, sql server, IIS) and new domain for 50 PCs and 88 users. Which included disjoining the PCs from the old domain and re-adding them to the new one. I did bring my son in to help with that part.

Fortunately, EXMerge worked and I was able to export their old emails to PST files.

Now I'm going around and fixing shortcuts, importing PST files, adding printers, etc. Hopefully I'll be done tonight so I can take off tomorrow.

So I can officially ignore this thread all day! :D

Wow. Well I wish you luck with the imports and wrap-up. I have 30 users at my location, though I don't admin an Exchange server, I do know what it's like to have hard drives crash. I have a log-on script set for each user that does a document redirect to the server and a shadow copy sync whenever they log off for the night. Since it can't sync an Outlook .pst (I have each user manually export the Outlook Personal Folders to a .pst on a server share.) So everything gets backed up. (Except my laptop died and I lost about 3 months of email as that was the last time I backed up ) What is that old saying? The carpenter has the broken stairs, the plumber has the leaky pipes, and the IT guy lost all his data!!!

I can't wait until I know exactly what ya'll are talking about. On that subject, I should be starting school in the fall. I'm only going to be taking 2 classes at a time, but that will get my brain in gear once again. :D I'm excited. hehehe

Good luch, Ray, I hope it will all get sorted out!

I do not know what you are talking about either, but it certainly looks as if it will take time ... :(

Oh, Good morning to you all - even if it is your evening or night ... it'll be morning soon! :D

Does anyone have or have access to a graduated cylinder? I'm trying to find out a fairly precise measurement of volume increase for something.

Just thought I'd ask in here before buying one. ;)

OK. I find that incredibly, competitively funny. :D

And on that note, I ordered a Opty 175 to swap out for my FX-55 today. Not sure what I'll do with the fiddy-five yet, but...

Maybe I'll ignore it and let it collect some dust bunnies. It seems to be pretty skilled at that already.
