I heard "the fight" was awful. Was I lied to?
I heard the same, but Amazon has 141 reviews with 4.5 / 5 stars....

I've concluded that having anything other than my PS3 is pointless as I never used my Xbox 360 so I sold it a few days ago and I never use my Wii anymore either, which I'm planning on trying to sell this coming week.
I use my PS3 constantly either for games or for media functions and was wondering if the Playstation Move brings anything to the table that makes it better than the Wii and a must have?
Who here has it and is glad they got it? Is anyone regretting buying it?
The consensus there is that it works your ass off. That's good... I might actually run to Target as I've seen it marked off there for a while.
the only motion controller worth it right now is Kinect. Playstation move is just a slightly advanced Wii remote controller and it looks like a dildo
Just don't move your feet.
Tumble on PSN is a lot of fun.

The thing about "The Fight" is that they made a very poor decision with their implementation of stat gains. Low speed and technical stats actually add a delay to the responsiveness of the controls. It goes away once you max out the relevant stats, but that involves doing a good bit of repetitive training to get sufficient stats. And if you only play long enough to experience the game with bad stats, you'll think the game simply has bad controls.
It was not a wise way to implement that in a motion controlled game. It's otherwise lots of fun after you get to max in those stats, but until then it's a bit frustrating.
How long does it take to get it at an acceptable level?
Hard to say. I'd estimate I put 4 hours total into speed bag training for stat points, but only part of that went to max out the relevant stats. You could probably get both to max in an hour and a half to two hours.
But they will be two very boring hours.
