I have to try Deux Ex someday. Otherwise the last old game I had the pleasure of playing was The Longest Journey (adventure) I heartily recommend it!

That's a horrible case of missing out on something great! I want to replay HL1 now, it's been a while but I wasn't bothered by the graphics even after playing HL2 before that.

Im still planning on re-playing it, but i wanna just blow through it, and im really only playing it for the story line. I ended up having to put god-mode on, because at one save point i had 2% health, and had to go through a part that was impossible not to get hit once. Kinda stupid.

I just feel like I have been forcing myself to play some games, so really for me it comes down to - whats the point? I bought Space Marine for 5 bucks a few days ago, and IMO for a quick fun game its not bad. I certainly had more fun playing that than suffering through HL1 so far. Maybe thatll change once i play a little more.

what about Half Life Source?

Pretty sure source only looks slightly better than the original. Maybe black mesa will come out someday, then itll look much better.

GoG got $6 of my dosh last night so i didnt have to dig out my old Roller Coaster Tycoon disks. Game is still a ton of fun. Trying to get back in the groove.
