Just noticed the other day that there is an option to delete apps from My Apps list now. Not sure when it popped up but I'm glad it's now possible. Kinda sucked having every app I've tried show up on the list for My Apps!

My post was dead serious. At no point was this procedure listed clearly & explicitly in this thread. To quote Michael Scott "Explain it to me like I'm 10 years old" ... (don't get it) ... "OK, explain it to me like I'm 5 years old".
OK so I figured it out now:
-you can delete Apps from your App Library (not installed on device) WHILE USING YOUR ANDROID DEVICE. It doesn't work on the play store (where the trash icons are next to apps, allowing you to delete apps installed on your devices). That is what the OP was saying but the difference between these two led to confusion.
I was trying from the Play Store website, where I do most of my app management from. No dice.

It's nice that this works.
Edit: Long pressing on one app (on the device under Play Store > Apps > All Apps) and then tapping on subsequent apps allows you to select multiple apps at once, then click the uninstall icon in the top right to remove multiple apps at a time. Good stuff! Much faster than doing them one at a time!
