Most of downtown is vacant because of Covid and corporations going remote. I'm one of a couple thousand people in one building that is no longer an office space. There are many others. Covid has devastated this town more than anything else. But there's also a reason we have one of the lowest case counts of any major metro city. We took it seriously.

I was there a while ago and stayed in downtown by Powell's and didn't see any protestors at all. I have been many times and it was basically a ghost town compared to what I've seen before, which is not unexpected. Seemed like a lot of restaurants were closed. There were some boarded up places and graffiti.
