What's really bizarre about nehalem's pathology is that he keeps trying to argue the same points over and over again as if he hasn't been proven wrong in half a dozen previous threads. It's like he has the attention span of a goldfish.

what I find comical is the same folks who want to use biology as a social construct factor in gay marriage want to ignore it for abortion and pregnancy.

You are biologically unequal to women with regards to childbirth. Social constructs take this into account.

Okay, lets go back to this now that you have continued to contradict yourself.

You have been arguing that since men and women are unequal when it comes to reproduction it is okay to give them unequal rights.

So by your own logic since straight and gay couples are unequal it is acceptable to give them unequal rights. :awe:

But it gets worse for. If we were to continue your logic since we still force the responsibilities of parenthood on men we would force shall we say that "bad parts" of marriage onto gay couples. So for example alimony would be enforced, but you would still have to pay taxes on inheritance.

Wow. I really see the comedy now

Reproduction has nothing to do with Marriage, thats why marriage as a social construct does not have to account for biology.

no matter how many times you repeat that, it wont become more true.

you have to keep telling yourself to allow gay marriage.

Actually he did say:
Reproduction is not the reason marriage exists, I do agree it was created as a social construct in part because of reproduction.

:hmm:

And of course he has also been arguing that since men and women are unequal when it comes reproduction it is acceptable to treat them unequally with respect to rights afforded around reproduction.

So by his own logic it is perfectly acceptable to prohibit same-sex marriage.

Lol I don't have to keep telling myself anything society will allow gay marriage.

And men will continue to have to support offspring women choose to carry and birth or they have to accept a woman choosing not to carry and birth.
Society reflects or is in process of reflecting my views on issues.

You and the other creeps can rant and rave about how unfair it all is.

I'll keep posting How and why I think society reflects the views it does.

Sure it's perfectly acceptable to prohibit gay marriage, society has done so already.

Until such time society chooses its not acceptable which is what is occurring now.

For you and the other deadbeats out there society also says you have to support your offspring yet get no legal say in the choice to bring it into the world.

That won't be changing anytime soon.

What you should have learned is majority of society doesn't think or view these issues like you.

You could save a lot of typing by just saying "fuck men" to everything. As that is pretty much what your position is.

Can you blame lemmings for adopting such a position?

State education teaches men are more violent than women (statistically untrue). The media bombards everyone with serial-killer dramas incorrectly repeating the myth that the vast majority of serial killers and violent criminals are male (another bogus progressive myth). Parents tend to acknowledge violence in their sons much more readily than in daughters.

These people don't wake up and decide to be emotionally-driven or irrational, as with all human beings they are born perfectly normal and rational but are trained to be sheep.

Its simple. Society views men as disposable vessels to support women. Women are programmed to use men to support their offspring. And men are programmed to protect women.

Or in essence as I said earlier: "Fuck men".

Because you are. Men were always disposable. We could send you out to war because it didn't matter how many died. We can always replace you as long as there are women capable of having children. This is why women and children get the first life rafts and men are left to die. This is also why we can still get away with unfair divorce laws. We don't care how many men commit suicide due to crippling divorce settlements because men are easily replaced.

You can get a sense a how worthless men are just by looking at your bible. 1 rich man has 12 wives. Men and women are born in roughly equal numbers so what do you think happened to the other 11 men? A lot of them were slaves. A lot of them were soldiers. Gayness was rampant back then because 90% of women were married to the top 10% of men and the other 10% of women were prostitutes that can't be married because they are deemed unclean. A very small percentage of men were ever able to reproduce and that seemed to have no ill effects on society.

I'm not saying this just to hate on men. I like men, I date men, and most of my friends are men. I'm just keeping it real. Society sees you as replaceable because you are replaceable.

Yet women are not required to support their offspring.

At any time during, or even immediately after birth the woman can shun her responsibility. Even if it means dropping the baby off at a safe harbor to become a ward of the state.

Who is the dead beat then? No responsibility, just walk away.

Too bad men do not have the same rights as women.

I think you are digging deep beyond what the article says.

Planned Parenthood isn't calling for this. A lobbyist backed into a statement indicating she doesn't know what to do in a situation and suggests leaving it to professionals. That isn't the same as calling for post birth abortions, muchless Planned Parenthood openly advocating for it.

Umm....not knowing what to do in this situation should raise some concern I would think.

If that action is undertaken both the mother and father are relieved of responsibility. Are you suggesting that the father should be able to sign a piece of paper that absolves both parents of responsibility at any time? How is that an improvement?

In this thread I see a lot of complaining, but I've asked you many times for a better way to do things and you have no answer.

Do you really have to be a doctor to realize there is a human child outside of a mothers womb?
I'll say yes. You would be surprised how dumb people are. There have been numerous cases of people being accidentally buried alive. People who can't recognize signs of breathing are probably going to have trouble identifying a human baby as well.

Equality :colbert:

Or does gender equality just mean that women get everything they want?

We've been over the equality bit before. I want equality for all, you want special privileges for men due to some sort of psychological disorder you have that has led to an extreme hatred of women.

If you have any further questions about this please reference the 20 odd times I've explained this to you. Or alternatively, ask your Canadian girlfriend.

A guy my dad worked with did not know he had a child until the kid was grown. The mother waited 18 years to tell the guy and file for child support.

The man was in his 50s when he found out he owed 18 years back child support, totaling close to $100k.

But yet, somehow that is a fair and balanced system?

What would be a fair system, is for both parents to be held responsible for caring for the child.

If the mother can drop a child off at a safe harbor, then the father should be allowed the same rights.

If the father is court ordered to provide health insurance and pay child support, then the mother should be court ordered to get a job and provide health care.

The system is tilted in favor of whoever has possession of the child.

You mean the same privilege to abandon a child after its born as women have? :colbert:
