300+ cert points and nothing good to spend them on (yet).

Because everything worth buying costs so damn much.

Yeah, I haven't even been playing the last week hardly at all. I just bought a lot of the 1cr certs with my early stash and a couple of the faster spawn certs for my favorite items.

I'd say weapon, class, and platform-specific unlocks are worthy. If you've already got the low-level ones, yeah it seems everything else costs a ton.

Weapon optics, ammo, armor and repair-type stuff for vehicles, class abilities... I see a ton of things I want but trying to save up certs because I'm not really sure what avenue I want to pursue the most.

faster spawn? Is that the acquire time cert?

I still haven't even tried any of that yet. If I spawn a tank and end up getting killed (either in or out of the tank), I usually just spawn at the territory under contest and continue the fight on foot.

If I wanted to spawn another tank immediately after it got destroyed, what's the standard wait time?

The one thing I do hate is instant action is forever - if I spawn on squad leader and die, I can't do it again for like what, 15 minutes? So if nobody deployed Sundie's nearby (with mobile spawn cert), it is now impossible to spawn anywhere near the fight. In those cases I usually spawn somewhere else, grab a Flash, and just zip toward the fight if possible.

From reddit, I just learned you can drop a 2nd ammo box by holding out the turret as engie and pressing B.

I thought you could deploy infinite ammo boxes?

Or, if you deploy a second one, does the first disappear? So that only one is actually "active"?

There's a cool-down of a few seconds, but I haven't paid attention to see if dropping multiple is actually dropping more than one or just removing the old one.

I was hoping Steam would keep the game up to date but all it does is launch it. Not sure if letting others see when I'm playing is worth the CPU drain of running Steam.

Well to be honest I was saving up for vehicle weapon unlocks mostly... but MOST of the necessary ones are in the 500-750-1000 range. Basically ridiculous numbers. My next unlock I'd like is A2A rockets for the reaver.

Same thing with MAXes, 2nd hand weapon (ie: left hand burster for example) is ridiculously expensive.

Other choice I'd be interested in is the S2A or S2S heavy missile for tracking capabilities. Yet those too are stupidly expensive.

Basically, anything categorized as "useful" is expensive. For what it's worth, I've already put cert points into most everything basic and or necessary to get along. I am BR20ish.

Is there any way to reduce the amount of time required between vehicle spawn times? In other words, is it contingent in any way on certs or captured territory?

It definitely seems to designed to encourage use of real-world money on weapon systems, and certs on weapon-specific upgrades (as well as all other upgrades).
Aside from vehicle weapons, it seems typically such pay-for upgrades still really aren't in the Pay2Win category so I think it actually works out alright. I say that because, sure, rockets and whatnot will help you rape the battlefield, but at the expense of utility of that specific vehicle. So you get rockets, but lose out on a heavy machine gun, which makes it a little harder to fight against infantry swarming the area.

I'm considering just taking advantage of sales, building up a lot of station cash, then using all that to get the weapons I want. Then I can get the useful cert-only upgrades for the weapons, vehicles, and classes.

One good thing to look forward to: account unlocks will be globally applied to all characters (except for faction-specific unlocks), and when they do this, it will also be retroactively applied to all unlocks at that point in time.

I'm hoping that, and server transfers, are coming soon. I know their priority focus is on overall bug fixes and performance-related improvements, but these additions are also not major new features that will require a ton of resources to get them implemented.

First thing I'd spend certs on is the mobile spawn for the sunderer. It costs 50 certs but is worth it. You take a sunderer and deploy it in the action = 2 XP for everyone that spawns on it. In a big battle you can have 2 XP flashing on your screen constantly. It's well worth the 50 certs and it actually helps the team.

I've also spent 30 certs each on a couple of reflex sights for my primary weapons. Next would like to get a rocket launcher to take out air but that is crazy expensive. Also, would like to upgrade the armor and main guns on tanks but that is expensive. I think the vehicle upgrades really require station cash/real money. Hopefully around Christmas they have a 3 for 1 sale on Station Cash, I know they've done that before. That's what I'm waiting for.

Most of the stuff that I want to unlock costs 1,000 certs.

Vanu VX6-7 Carbine
Skyguard
Second burster cannon for MAX
Saron HRB

and so on

Unless you guys are majorly against paying for the game, I think a monthly sub for a few months is worth looking into. You get 500 SC a month plus an increased rate of Cert gain (that increases for each successive month you sub). Plus all the preferential treatment when it comes to queues. I figured if you're putting in at least 5-6 hours a week it's worth the investment.

Each of the vehicles have an Acquisition Timer Reduction certification, should be the first cert in the list of upgrades for that vehicle. Each tick upgrades it by 30 seconds (usually). This includes MAXes as well.

I find im better at killing with aircraft by mowing down inf on the ground than actually killing them with weapons. It also feels better.

It's honestly the easiest way to level up in the game. The only thing you have to worry about is enemy pilots and a lot of them are scrubs so it's basically like shooting fish in a barrel 75% of the time you're up there.

Hey have any of you pulled any Trojan attacks while playing? I got one today, says it came through Steam. Weird. I know this is not uncommon but just wondering if anyone else has run into this.

I would disagree that everything is running well.

25fps on a 5ghz i7 with a 7850 with some settings turned down and 1680x1050 is not "well"

the one thing i hate about that is, as a heavy, i rely on the [kill +160whatever exp] flashing on my screen to know to stop shooting and get back behind cover. I don't actively look for it obviously, but i see it in my periphery and i hear the sound.

that has screwed me once. Fired the HAWK at a plane and then engaged a guy. Killed the plane and stopped shooting thinking it was the guy that died. Needless to say, I was the one who was dead shortly.

Hope the double XP stacks with the XP boosts. looking at the tweet, it seems it does. 300+ XP for a kill with 50% boost? sweet.

CPU drain? Unless you are running something VERY old its a non-issue.

I been streaming this game, i had 10 viewers the other night. I forgot I had it on and was kind of being a dick and camping a sunnder spawn for a hour. lol
