And I wouldnt expect them introduce a bill to remove filibuster, as the Democrats were the last to amend it to what we have today. I guess they could say oops we fucked up lets fix it, but I doubt that will happen.

edit: And although they dont have a super majority, they DO have a veto-proof majority...not that it matters in this case.

It only take a rule change to remove the filibuster. Considering why it was enacted so southern Senators could protect slavery and later used to block civil rights I would favor debating it's removal.

Of course it's not what you meant, I was just exposing your hypocrisy which is why no one respects you, it has nothing to do with your political leaning.

Notice how you didn't address my question about you now supporting ending the filibuster? Of course you don't support ending it because you don't want the dems to accomplish anything but I bet we'll hear from you for four years how the dems can't get anything done all while ignoring Republicans continued obstruction of running this country.

And no, Im dont support it for one reason. It would make a bad thing worse by embracing one-party rule. And it would eliminate Congress of the only procedural path to possibly force compromise and negotiation.

Hannity and Tucker will say things like AFTER THE SWEARING IN, PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN WENT TO THE WHITEHOUSE AND SIGNED ORDERS TAKING AWAY YOUR GUNS, YOUR FREE SPEECH, AND YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS. LOL, who the fvck am I kidding, sorry if I misled anyone. They'll probably operate from the same playbook they used against Obama. That being said, the impeachment now in process against Trump will pretty much be a tell as far as how McConnell, now being the titular head of the party will steer his party one way or the other cooperation-wise.
