Place your bets. How soon after Biden's swearing in do right wingers blame him for everything gone wrong

Oh so when you said, "now the the Democrats have pretty much full power, how many things theyve complained about for the last 4 years they'll actually change.” what you were really asking is how many of those things they will attempt to change. /eye roll

They also don't have a veto proof majority but that doesn't really matter now does it since president Biden would be unlikely to veto something the dems pass.

Maybe when you can be honest with yourself people will respect you.

Oops youre right. My bad.

And no, thats not what I meant in the first paragraph.

And nothing I could ever say would make people on this board respect me, even when I agree with them. Im not far enough left. Im ok with that.

Congresspeople introduce bills all the time they know wont pass. I would expect to see one introduced to shut down the detention centers, at least.

And I wouldnt expect them introduce a bill to remove filibuster, as the Democrats were the last to amend it to what we have today. I guess they could say oops we fucked up lets fix it, but I doubt that will happen.

edit: And although they dont have a super majority, they DO have a veto-proof majority...not that it matters in this case.
It only take a rule change to remove the filibuster. Considering why it was enacted so southern Senators could protect slavery and later used to block civil rights I would favor debating it's removal.

Of course it's not what you meant, I was just exposing your hypocrisy which is why no one respects you, it has nothing to do with your political leaning.

Notice how you didn't address my question about you now supporting ending the filibuster? Of course you don't support ending it because you don't want the dems to accomplish anything but I bet we'll hear from you for four years how the dems can't get anything done all while ignoring Republicans continued obstruction of running this country.

Youre a moron for thinking it only benefits the GOP. /eye roll

And no, Im dont support it for one reason. It would make a bad thing worse by embracing one-party rule. And it would eliminate Congress of the only procedural path to possibly force compromise and negotiation.

And there you go, arguing against something nobody has said. Dishonest as usual.

No one cares what your reason is for not supporting the removal of the filibuster but it's obvious to everyone what you were trying to do with your question. We aren't even one day in to bidens presidency and you are already trying to shit on it. You fool no one.

Have the last 4 years not taught you Republicans aren't interested?

Respect isn't about right vs left. It's about truth vs fiction, fact vs alt-fact, right and wrong.

Want respect? Try starting with consistency. Granting a pass on positions 2016-2020 you claimed to stand for 2008-2016 invites scorn

from what I saw on Twitter a Newsmax anchor called the speech by Biden 'divisive' lol

Did he say which part? The only one I can think of is that he condemned lying. I suppose if you're a liar, then the condemnation of lying could be seen as "divisive." How dare he divide Americans by suggesting that the liars aren't as valid and deserving as everyone else! There is no excuse for being bigoted against corrupt liars!

Who cares about right wingers OR... Fox news for that matter??? They lost and that was that. Hannity and Tucker will say things like AFTER THE SWEARING IN, PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN WENT TO THE WHITEHOUSE AND SIGNED ORDERS TAKING AWAY YOUR GUNS, YOUR FREE SPEECH, AND YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS. So just expect that from Fox before the day is over. And again, who really cares?

Thats my problem when Im neither D or R. How many times do I get blasted for bothsides...when thats exactly what I am?

In their efforts to strike a chord of unity, compromise and cooperation with the Dems, McConnell will lead his party to a new era of placing the prosperity of the nation over their agenda of creating a state of fascism that will give them minority party control of the nation.

LOL, who the fvck am I kidding, sorry if I misled anyone. They'll probably operate from the same playbook they used against Obama. That being said, the impeachment now in process against Trump will pretty much be a tell as far as how McConnell, now being the titular head of the party will steer his party one way or the other cooperation-wise.

Youre no doubt familiar with the story of 5 blind men and the elephant? Guess theyre all lying since theyre not consistent.
