I am going to blame Biden right now!

If Biden had ran four years ago, we would not have 400,000 dead Americans.

Same for the Iran deal, global warming, racial justice, deficit spending, rigged elections, etc. If Biden had ran four years ago, none of it would be a problem.

It is all Biden's fault.
Biden did not know Hilary would lose. Neither did I. Anyway, he didn't feel like it. He was mourning Beau's death. He was really down about it.

sorry

/s = sarcasm
I know, I didn't even notice the /s but realized you were being sarcastic. Still, I had to respond. Nobody knew Trump was going to carry, not even Trump. He was taken by surprise, had no plan, never did.

I think Trump will go down as the worst president in the history of the US.

I think the worst thing about the Trump era is it radicalized all of us. Both the left and the right.

Before the Trump era I believed good republicans existed. Maybe they did. But now, they do not.

I respect that Biden is trying to save the soul of America. Someone has to try to put humpty dumpty back together gain.

His failure is inevitable. But at least this way it will clearly be the republicans who are at fault for the coming civil war.

Yes, it's gotten very difficult to retain any measure of hope for Republicans.

I agree with everything until you get to the failure of Biden. That isn't certain. And I completely disagree that a civil war is coming.

EVERYTHING I have heard from the Republicans in response to the first day of the Biden presidency has struck me as nothing more than nay saying propaganda. Rand Paul's knee jerk absurdities and some guy they had on NBC TV news tonight who said that some of Biden's actions were way left wing whatever, i.e. the Paris Accord and Keystone Pipeline positions. Worthless drivel. They want zero environmental protections. That guy must be in the pocket of industrialists, as was Trump. The Republicans are going to cry about every environmental measure the current administration endorses. They really don't care if the earth goes to hell in a hurry. Not one bit.

Now, one thing Biden said in his inauguration address struck me as poignant and to me a novel idea. He said that unity in a democracy is very hard to achieve. That's a very interesting point. Just the fact that different parties are fighting for the same turf basically insures disagreement is fundamentally guaranteed. So we shouldn't be a bit surprised at the baloney being served up by Republican talking heads after day one, honeymoon 100 days of the new presidency be damned.

My instinct is to steer away from people who sow dissension, who have no vision for the future other than insuring the well being of some to the exclusion of others. It's clear to me that this is what Republicans are all about now.

I concur with exception of the phrase "will go down as". Replace with "is"

He wasn't mentally in the position to run, as he was still dealing with the death of his son. Yeah, yeah, don't start about his mental capabilities now you damn mouth breathers! :)

The statement was obviously intended to misdirect those of limited understanding. But that doesn't change the two facts it contains, both of which are accurate. I actually find it equally humorous and sad.

see, this is the problem with conservatives. They have no problem with "well, it's technically true on the face of it, so that's all that matters!" and really don't care about the context. They don't care. It passes the "well, it's true?" test, therefore it's good.

This is exactly what happened to your brains after so many decades of this bullshit. You've grown a 3 inch husk around your skull that simply will no longer accept any information beyond a simple "true/not true/...sounds true in the way that I see the world" information test. It's why you are easily manipulated into voting against your own best interests, including your personal wealth for decades (we are all worth about 70% less of what we otherwise would be, because you started voting for republicans in the 70s. That's actually a true fact!) and why it's easy for you to think starting an insurrection is a proper response to losing a fair and valid democratic election.

Your statement in this thread is exactly why we have this fucking shit. You don't think critical thinking is necessary.

Thanks Obama! Thanks again, Biden!

Also, a sidenote on the question of the thread topic- I also wondered how long it might be until Donnie starts suing private parties for defamation and/or slander again...he use to have a habit of it and now people have even more ammo on him...

I wonder what's going to happen when the people that worked for him and signed an NDA come out with interviews and books about all of the crappy and illegal stuff he did as president.

Hey man, don't get all pissy. If a news network wants to report that 1,000 people died when Biden was inaugurated, and that nobody died as a result of Trump being inaugurated, they're free to do that. Facts are facts, brah.

Biden's not senile at all. He stutters occasionally, has had that issue his whole life, BFD. I heard him speak (network television coverage) in Los Angeles the evening of Super Tuesday and was just wowed. After 10 minutes the network turned away and started gabbing, so I didn't get hear the whole thing. He was absolutely on fire. Trump couldn't do that in 10,000 years, no matter what.
