Place to get reviews for exercize machines?

Can someone provide a link to a site that has reviews/recommendations on ellipticals and personal home gyms? I live in an area where the selection of brands is not that great, but I don't mind shelling out $ for an elliptical and home gym, since I am positive I would use them.

Trying to get back to being a healthier weight and the nearest gym is too far away to motivate me to use it as often as I would like.

The more you pay, the better the machine. (Unless it is some gimmicky contraption.) The $400 ellipticals hurt my knees, the $4000 ellipticals are smooth as butter.

As for reviews, I'm not sure. See what the big gyms are using, and get that brand. I am sure they have done research regarding cost/benefit.

I thought of doing that, but it occurred to me that there is a lot of disparity in the build quality between the commercial machines and the personal machines. I was really hoping someone out there could point me in the direction of some solid reviews for personal exercise machines.
