Two things.

1: You don't know what hypocrisy is.
2: You don't know how to spell hypocrisy.

Guess I need to post the definition again.

di·ver·sion/diˈvərZHən/
Noun:
An instance of turning something aside from its course.
An activity that diverts the mind from tedious or serious concerns; a recreation or pastime.

So changing the topic to dems do it too is not a defense it is a separate topic. If you have examples please feel free to make a thread about them. Yelling "he did it first!" isn't a excuse for 5 year olds so why should it work as an adult? It is not a defense it is purely a diversion.

If you want to keep claiming it is not a diversion feel free. However. I will rebut you every time because you are completely fucking wrong. So now scuttle off and pretend this discussion didn't happen like you always do.

I spent about $100 on ammunition last weekend. As a rule, I always choose local proprietors over big box stores and corporate chains, regardless of price. Gun shops are my one big exception as the people are universally idiotic and unfriendly. I wont criticize the "boycott" here because I do the same thing. The world would be a better place if we voted for our best interests in the polls as well as the checkout desk. The problem here is the blind partisanship doesn't really coincide with people's best interests IMO.

If I could find a lefty gun shop, they would definitely get my business.

So, how is it in our best interest as a nation to buy all our crap from China?

while the owner is right "There’s no middle line anymore, and that’s exactly what’s wrong with our country right now."

having people boycutt is a price a business owner faces when he pisses off the people.

Are you saying he pissed off the people because the POTUS visited his shop to personally thank him for his work in blood donations?

Just what are you saying here?

the Democrats are known for thier blatent hatred of Republicans. You guys constantly refer to us as your enemies and some here even go so far as to wish harm on us. So when I see a Democrat refer to the Republicans as hate machines, I think I can spot hypocrisy.

Yes, Democrats hate Republicans... but Republicans hate Democrats, too.

Don't pretend "your team" doesn't hate the other team.

How exactly does he piss off the people by accepting recognition from the leader of his country for the efforts he has put in? He does a lot more than just post signs for blood donations at his restaurant.

It's disgusting that people are so harshly partisan that they would shit on this guy for accepting a little bit of praise.

same way people would be pissed if he had to a GOP. poeple are idiots when it comes to politics. its my team or nobody's. To many on both sides of the isle would rather screw over the other side then allow them to pass or do something good.

I amazed people are suprised that people are this way. Frankly this forum is a great example of it. IF anyone post anything good for the GOP you have a major flame fest on them bitching out the GOP. Same with the dems but to a much much smaller amount of people.

Saying that. IF a person pisses off one party the people's only response is to boycutt. that is part of having a business. now im not saying they are right to do it. but it is the only way a customer has to show their displeasure.

Highly doubt people will protest a pizza shop if the guy bear hugged Romney. If they did that then the right would be crying to the world how awful they were for protesting a small business community organizer raising blood drives and donations to that cause.

The truth of the situation is that the right extremists/die harders can't comprehend that a small business owner would welcome and show affection for a standing president for visiting. They show their confusion by acting extremely butt hurt and hurling their hatred at the shop owner kind of like a high school kid being in denial.

I'm still looking for someone that's running a boycott of the place. Someone ? Anyone? You say he's "faces boycott" in your title. Where is it? Who's calling it?

I'm still waiting to see this answered. There's a whole lot of name calling going on here, but little evidence of any wrongdoing.

When I looked at the yelp reviews two or three hours ago there were tons of one star reviews.

They removed those and now there are a ton of five star fake reviews which are just as stupid. They need to freeze the listing and remove any review after the president's visit.

Those one star reviews are still there. Just sort by rating.

Personally I'd love to see someone bear hug Romney. That man could use some human interaction. Maybe his heart would grow three sizes that day.

Thats not what hes saying....thats exactly what happened. His business has been bombarded with negative reviews on websites like Yelp from Republicans who hate him for hosting a "marxist anti-American" at his pizza shop. All of the reviews came in on the SAME day, yet..all of them claim to have eaten there despite being from around the country. Most of the comments are politically charged. Its really childish that this man is treated this way for letting a guy hug him.

I guess you guys have been ignoring the Republican movement against this guy via Restaurant reviews. Childish...but a negative reaction no less. They are slamming his business and telling people not to eat there saying his food is bad but also make it a point to make sure people know that he "supported" the president by greeting him and hugging him.

Bunch of kids.

It's weird that you can't find one. I wonder why that might be? :hmm:

Because of the strawman myth about Democrats all being "gun-grabbers." How many conservative book stores have you heard of?

This is the most pathetic boycott attempt I have ever seen.

Internet reviews do NOTHING. A real boycott is sitting outside the resturant with signs and stuff to let people who are walking in know that a boycott is going on. a good portion 90%+ dont look at internet reviews before choosing a place to eat.

Stupid protestors.

I have to wonder if this is more about trying to drum up more business than anything else. Not to mention all the free advertising that being created by this "News Story"

There is no boycott, there never was. The hug guy got some negative internet reviews and got a "journalist" to write the story. No boycott found except by the gullible.

Victims keeping it real.

OTOH, if there were a boycott - I couldn't support it. Don't see any real compelling reason to do so. Plenty of people voting for Obama this November, no need to single him out.
