My wife and I get this thin wheat crust. We coat it with olive oil, sauce, then brown an entire pound of hamburger with garlic, diced onions, salt, and pepper then just cake it onto the crust. Cover that with mozzarella and a touch of cheddar, then banana peppers, jalapenos, and pepperoni.

Cook that sucker on the grill.

mmm...mmmmmmm.... bitch!

Also, I find lahmacun even better than "traditional pizza" on the grill. Something about lamb and charcoal just go together. Highly recommend that recipe, as well as the cookbook, it's one of my favorites...very cheap on Amazon.

I hate to bump an old topic... but I just tried this.... wow that was good!

I took a Red Baron frozen pizza, pre cut it into 4 slices and plopped it right on top of the coals with some wood chips for smoke. It's just a different flavor if you were to oven bake it. Next week, I'll try homemade pizza (I didn't want to go through the effort of making the dough if this didn't come out well, so I went with frozen this time), and freeze the shaped dough before I put it on the grill so I don't need to use a baking stone.

1. 1 layer of coals spread evenly over the grill
2. Close the vents half way
3. ...
4. Profit(For my mouth)

One was a cheapo frozen pizza and one was a Papa Murphys take and bake. Cooks in about half of the time and has that grill taste.

You didn't take pics of this pizza. :(
