while that $4.80 is a whole lot less than $50, I do wonder what the REAL cost is. If you take the 1/100000 or whatever chance it is that you will be caught and multiply that by the total amount you can be sued will it come out to less or more than $50?

Actually, nevermind, that is all irrelevant. If you are caught the fine is huge and if not then you pay nothing so all my calculations really mean nothing.

PS and no, I am not a math major ;)

I bought HL2 for 60 bucks, It was all right, but CS:Source totally sucked. Now I'm stucked with the game that I cannot return and that just sits on a shelf gathering dust :(
This is one of those moments I really wish I got a "free" copy off the internet before going out and buying it.

Gimme a break...you would have gotten the "free" copy THEN have bought it if you liked it....lets get real now

Believe it or not bro, but some of us DO buy all the games they like. I have no problem paying for a quality game to support devs that create quality products.

Best regards...

I never implied that I don't? I just don't see you downloading a game illegally and once you play the full version for free, decide you want it and go out and pay money to get a legal copy. That would be like me stealing a CD, listening to it, and then going back to pay for it....it just doesn't make sense.

Forget about the math, doesn't $50 for 3 days of computer useage seem like a bit much? That would be quite the energy bill at the end of the month.

My electric bill for just lights, appliances, and my furnace runs about $60/month, with both of my computers going about $80/month. That's $10/month per computer, so yeah.

Funny thing is, electricity around here is something like 5c an hour to run a computer, so lets see, 5cent/hour x 96 is 48$, Best Buy had the game on sale for 40$ this week, what a fool.

Your retarted. Comes to 4.80 dollars.
